Little River Bed and Breakfast

Wonderful! Super clean, stylish, comfy bed, pool table, bar etc. highly recommend and to the pub next door for meals.

Travelling west to east and stayed here on the 8th and 9th of November with 2 dogs. It was a little complicated to find the room on the first night, but after we did it was great! The room was set up with some gorgeous furniture! The bathroom was awesome! Overall a clean and tidy place. It was a bit further from the city centres with the quiet that brings and we loved that it was half way between Melbourne and Geelong. That old world charm really was great!

Craig and Tanya are very accomodating, great customer service. Bar room 4 is small but really nice, bathroom is gorgeous! Coffee machine and kettle. No Aircon due to heritage listing but fan available in wardrobe. Beautiful grounds and pub is right next door. Continental breakfast available. Easy access to walking Trail next to river.

Beautifully presented with modern facilities. Quiet environment for perfect sleep. The host was welcoming and nice options of breakfast. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good place to enjoy!!

What a fun experience. The owners are great. Our room was spacious and comfortable, plus the food at the hotel next door homey. Make reservation, as it’s a popular spot. The locals taught us about the fast paced game of “footy” or Aussie Rules, a highly entertaining game, of which the finals are better attended than any grid-iron or soccer game final.

It was just wonderful. I made a mistake on the booking, but the owner helped us out and was so nice and friendly. It was just like home there. She was absolutely helpful. The rooms were clean and had a nice size. Breakfast was okay, you could help yourself with coffee, tea, cereals and toast. All in all nice experience and I would book it again!

We made a last minute booking at the bnb after Jetstar cancelled our flight from Avalon to Sydney on a Sunday afternoon. Tanya was very accommodating & the bnb itself is a beautiful stone building with lovely comfortable rooms. Tanya was so lovely she even drove us to the airport at 5am when our Uber cancelled on us. Would 100% recommend staying here & huge thank you for having us at the drop of a hat. Anna & Sam

A little gem quite unexpected when we booked at random for a night. We were unexpectedly upgraded to the beautiful Bluestone Room which had the king bed, spa, open fireplace and a spacious unique original bluestone walled room. We checked ourselves in and had the luxury of the place to ourselves as no other guests had arrived. Our host, Tanya, appeared to welcome us, then disappeared just as quickly (like a genie in a bottle). We walked next door to the pub and had a great meal with other happy family groups. I look forward to a comfy sleep and a great breakfast in the morning. Would recommend this spot to friends or anyone for a quiet peaceful stay.

Excellent country accommodation with plenty of history. The original Little River Hotel with heaps of charm and a connection with the original Mad Max movie. We stayed in the Bluestone Room and it was spacious, comfortable, and had modern bathroom amenities (including a bath/spa and double shower) . The common room includes an honesty bar, pool table, and dart board. Five rooms in total with on site parking. Next to Little River Hotel. Note: due to a heritage listing there is no air conditioning. There is heating, fans, and the bluestone design and verandahs keep the building naturally cool. A great experience.

Little River Bed And Breakfast is one the best bed and breakfast in Melbourne!
They had everything set out for us before we got there, they even took us to the airport at 5.30am when we were trying to get an uber or even taxi, we thought we'd give them a call and ask and they didn't hesitate. Was the best service, they left us alone for the whole night letting us enjoy our stay and had breakfast set up before we were leaving for airport at 5am which is incredibly helpful.
The bedroom and ensuite bathroom was amazing, we stayed in the CDB at the crown and this place was at least 10 times better. Next time we will stay here the whole time instead of the crown.
Great place for a get away, don't look past it as it's very close to the airport in Melbourne so you can get to your flights nice and early.

So beautiful, the bluestone room was heaven. The comfiest bed and we slept like logs. If you enjoy historic stays, this is for you.

Rooms are clean & well looked after. I have stayed there a few times. Would recommend it to family's, couples or singles. Tanya is always there to answer your questions. And if u are a Mad Max fan ( I am). It was in the movie. And plenty of other locations around the Little River area in movie also. As Toecutter Gangs hideout. But there was nothing around it back then. A bit different now.And plenty of old relics around B&B to have a look at.

Wish there were more stars. The hosts are lovely and accommodating. The rooms are stunning, the bed was a cloud. Highly recommended for a stay

This is a very clean relaxed and easy-going place. It’s in a beautiful environment and next door to an interesting pub. The You Yang ‘s nearby.
