Beautiful little spot. Only 10 sites surrounded by trees and wildlife perched above the ocean. Great location to get away from it all. Really relaxing Bring your own water. BBQ and pit toilet facilities.

What a lovely spot! Very picturesque and quiet, you can hear the sound of the waves as you sleep at night and there is a very nice easy headland walk as well that features absolutely stunning views of the ocean. Facilities include toilets but not showers.

Probably the most beautiful campground we ever stayed. Absolutely gorgeous location.

We spent a couple nights here in a tent on some weekdays and it was amazing. Not crowded, beautiful sunrises, not many annoying animals.

We had a nice breeze up the cliffs that kept the smell of the WC but I could see this being annoying.

We didn’t have many day trippers but it’s a very small space.

Boorkoom camp is a hidden gem of Diggers camp. Quiet and remote, with a beach access.

- There is no shower and only one toilet. This place does not attract so many families, it is more suitable for single travelers, couples or friends, so usually less people come here comparing to the campgrounds around. Also the road is not really suitable for a small car, even though you can make it to the Boorkoom, but you will do really slow.

- You'll need your own portable shower, which you can fill driving only 2 minutes away to the picnic area with a toilet and with some water (not suitable for drinking).

- Fire is not permitted.

- Limited mobile reception - internet detox! But if you really need reception - go to that Wilsons Headland picnic area where the stairs are - you can find reception there.

- Beware of dragons and do not leave food outside to attract them.

- You can buy ice blocks, some groceries and petrol in Minnie water petrol station.

- Be quiet in respect to the others and do not forget to give a good clean to the barbecue after using it.

- When we were there, not everyone was thinking of it unfortunately, it does not look like there is a maid who cleans it after you!

- Nearest shops and hotel are in Wolli or Minnie Water, 15 minutes driving. There is also surf at the end of the jeti.

Enjoy your holidays !
* head on to innagram blog and search for 'Yuraygir' to see what you can do around (we spent 2 weeks there and explored the area)

Beautiful and remote. Got the best spot closest to the shore. Small campground, one toilet and plenty of room between sites.

Set between Grafton and Coffs Harbor this place is great. With only a BBQ and dump toilet it's a pretty self sufficient camp which is great turning most people off it meaning more camp grounds to pick from

No mozzie and very clean beach. Take rubbish with you when you leave. Minimal spots - off season is perfect
