We stayed here for four nights and we were so happy with our stay. We stayed in a beach hut which was very basic but exactly what we needed, the camp kitchen is extremely well equipped and large, the amenities were great and clean and the pools and playground are incredible. We had dinner one night at The 383 which we'd also recommend! Will definitely return

Had a day use there. Fantastic facilities for a day in a waterpark with slides, pools and a sand area. Shaded seating for families.

An absolute find as a break from the drive north even though it's 30 minutes off the highway

Just spent four days camping at the Solitary Islands Resort and enjoyed every moment!

The site allocated was clean spacious and provided all of the amenities we asked for (ensuite and power). The communal kitchen provides all cooking facilities possible and the BBQs numerous and clean.

The pools and cabanas etc are great for adults and kids alike.

The nearby beaches and river pro ided for great swimming, paddle boarding and fishing.

The newly opened The 383 Wooli Bar and Cafe at the entrance to the resort was a pleasant surprise. Great menu and drinks, with azing service.

Will definitely be back to the Solitary Islands Resort and will arrange for family and friends to come with us next time. It would be unkind to keep this gem to ourselves!

Great campground! We had a premium site (no. 213) on the river and it was amazing! Plenty for the kids to do: explore the river/estuary, play in the pool/giant waterslide, and lots of daily activities run by the resort. Highly recommended campground if you have kids. 👍👍👍

The staff went above and beyond during the recent bushfires keeping everyone informed on advice from the RFS. The facilities are amazing for families and the new cafe and bar the icing on the cake. Can’t wait to return.

Great park to stay in the pool and slides where awsome. Cant wait to return when they open up the 383. Only problem we had was our campsite was next to one of the cabins and there was a family that constantly smoked on the back verandah which made our camp site smell like cigarettes the whole time.

Without a doubt the north coasts best kept secret!
We booked a riverside powered site which was fantastic.
The facilities are right up there with the larger Big 4 style van parks, but in a much nicer setting.
Close to everything that you could want whilst on holidays.
All staff were very friendly, especially Chas, who is a great ambassador for this business.
We will be back with our grandkids next time!
Highly recommended.

Traveled here September 2023.

Wooli is a very sleepy town with not too much going on. There is really just a general store and Pub. Fortunately these are both next door to the park. Literally every site is beautiful and the river front sites are amazing. Palm trees everywhere. Heaps for the kids to do although some things where not available outside of school holidays which was a disappointment. However we had a great time. Paddling the free kayaks, the mega water slide, heated resort style pools with day beds, bean bags, fishing, paddleboarding (BYO) all inside the park. Outside the park we did some 4WD and beach driving, surfing the beachies was epic.

Only negative for me was the midges/sand flies so be prepared. Load up on the Vegemite and RID. I'm assuming this would be seasonal and they love my smell (haha) as the wife and kids didn't really get done like me.

Thanks Solitary Island staff. Loved our stay!

What a wonderful place to have a bi-annual family Christmas. The cabin we were in (C4) was well equipped and suited us very well for the week.
The communal kitchen is great and had everything we needed to cook for 22 adults + kids.
The facilities are perfect for families with everything from the water slide for excitement to quite spots down by the river to relax.
The entire park is well kept - no rubbish on the ground and the bins never seem to have a chance to get full before they are emptied.
The main positive I keep coming back to is the staff. Always so friendly with a wave and a smile as they go past, so efficient in keeping the grounds tidy and well maintained.
This was my first visit and I highly recommend the resort as a great family destination. I can't wait to come back.
Thank you so much!

Excellent holiday park to take kids to.
Big slide, pools, play grounds, pedal boats, etc. River front park.
Close to beautiful beach, amazing walks and views.
We got a cabin, good spot but l need better clean.
Far from highway and 40 min from closest town. Good to have supplies. They had very good pub on side of park for dinner.

This place should publish a book titled ‘How to run the best Caravan Park.’
Truly an amazing place to stay, one of the best in Australia - big call but it would be hard to beat.
Beautifully maintained, I hope they can keep it up as it would be a ton of work!
Not only are the sites flat but many have almost new Astro Turf and are massive. What I love about the sites is that they are mostly fringed with established palm trees giving privacy.
Riverfront sites are amazing.
Kids activities are in a league of their own.
Worth travelling for - we came from 8 hours away!

I have stayed at many resorts in many countries and never have I been so relaxed in my entire life.... I never thought to stay at a campsite. I stopped in last minute as my sister and her family were camping and I did not know what to expect but my goodness was I surprised. This is the LIFE! Incredible atmosphere around the pool family vibes mixed with relaxed adults sipping on their favourite beverage amongst the cabanas.
Music, movies under the stars in the pool at night, kiddies disco, social events on the weekends, fishing by the lake, beach a stones throw, canoeing, everyone talks to each other, pub and bottlo next door..... it was incredible!

Most amazing place. Blown away. I truly have never felt so much peace.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Absolutely reset and I was there for only 3 days!!!!

We will be back without a doubt.

Fantastic park, villas are really nice and equipped with everything we needed. Kids absolutely loved the pools and slides. The staff were all lovely especially the ladies supervising the slides. We booked again before we even left.

What a perfect park for a getaway with the family.
Located directly next to the river with excellent facilities for children and adults alike.
There are a variety of accommodation options With three large swimming pools a free standing manned water slide and ample spacious comfortable cabanas and pool lounges for everyone to enjoy the space.

Have stayed here so many times, the park has grown with so many fun amenties for the kids, the cabins are always clean and tidy with all the necessary inclusions, we stayed in our van on a powered site, water was clean and power steady, TV reception was a little scratchy as was the Wifi down the bottom end of the park.

The inclusion of dogs at the park has been a little annoying early in the morning from uncontrolled barking to droppings being left and not cleaned up by dog owners.

The introduction of Shonies coffee van was awesome, toasties, milkshakes and icecreams were delicious and the coffee strong and hot :)

The activities for the kids were amazing so many cool things for the kids to do.

Tie Dye, Rock Painting, Pool, Slide, Putt Putt Golf, Movies, Cliff Hanger, Easter Egg Hunt.

What a perfect park for a getaway with the family.
Nothing is a problem with super friendly and helpful staff like Chas and Abby, ready to assist with free kayak usage, bike or putt putt golf hire or whatever enquiry you have.
Located directly next to the river, which is perfect for swimming and fishing. The excellent facilities are well thoutout to cater for children and adults alike.

Beautiful park with plenty to do or to do nothing. Friendly staff. Our only negative was the scrub turkeys “messing” on our van and annex but hey we were in their environment. 😆. Will definitely be back. Congratulations on a beautiful place.
