Killara Estate

We stopped at this stunning winery today for lunch. The views were gorgeous. Service was great. I had the tortellini which was yummy and huge. The flathead tails, arancini and rocket salad were all enjoyable. I enjoyed a glass of sparkling moscato. Would def return and would recommend you visit it's really enjoyable and pretty.

Superb winery with amazing wines and a great menu but what really makes the experience is the amazing staff and legendary view.

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at Killara Estate Winery! It was everything you could ask for and more. Absolutely beautiful scenery and the loveliest staff to go with it.
Kev was an absolute legend and went above and beyond for my group. Very grateful for the my time spent there!

I planned a hen's lunch at Killara Estate and could not have been happier with the beautiful venue and the incredible customer service from Kev and the team. Kev was more than accomodating for every request, including setting up table decorations and ensuring that everything ran smoothly on the day. The venue itself is beautiful and there was so much incredible food as part of the set menu, no one left hungry or dissatisfied. If you're looking for somewhere to host a family or friends lunch or event, this is such a great location and so reasonably priced.

I was very fortunate to be part of a wedding at this wonderful venue and after my experience felt it necessary to write a review.

Upon arrival we were greeted by our hosts Kev and Louise, at no stage was anything too much trouble, the staff were equally as accommodating and were warm friendly and full of character (like their wines). The venue looked amazing and as the evening progressed the service, food and staff were impeccable. I am not sure about some of the other reviews I've read on this venue as our experience was magnificent.

Outstanding customer service. Easy going, accommodating and super friendly staff. The food is amazing and generous servings. Of course the wines are fantastic, their Prosecco is my favourite. To complete it all, their views are breathtaking. We had a lovely time and will keep coming back.

Possibly the best steak sandwich I've ever had. Triple-cooked chips. Perfectly cooked prawn tenders. And really good service. Views were spectacular. Can't complain at all.

One of the best views from a cellar door that I’ve seen. This is a winery in the upper Yarra valley with rolling hills views! ⛰🌲

Had a full tasting of the menu. All wines tasted are nice. Nebbiolo is a good food wine. But I was after a Pinot Noir because of this region.. so bought the bottle of Pinot which I didn’t even taste and of course it was my favourite haha.

What an amazing view. We stopped here just for a sneaky glass of Shiraz red wine from the estate and it definitely did not disappoint. A hidden treasure with heaps of parking, friendly staff and a wonderful venue. If you're in the area this is one of the best spots. Looks also like a great place for a wedding or birthday function. Enjoy and great job team!

The view is outstanding! The wine was very good. The steak sandwich was very good, and the pizza was alright.

had the pleasure of attending a wedding here. very impressed by the service and the staff, and we were blessed with a majestic view and great sunny weather.
(would advise to book private if available, can be a tiny bit awkward with other tourists/winery visitors around during a function)

This beautiful wedding venue is an absolute gem! I have had the pleasure of providing my DJ / MC Services and am so thankful to have had the opportunity to do so as I was so impressed by each and everything offered by this venue. Such an awesome place to stop and enjoy a drink. The views are phenomenal and the wine is outstanding. I didn't eat there but reckon I will next time with the smell of others dishes.

Lovely outdoor area with seating and standing room. Nice little pergola area closer to the vines. Big grass area for kids to run off steam whilst the adults enjoy the excellent food and wine menu. Lovely and enjoyable place to eat.

This was a great place to stop in on our Sunday exploration of the Yarra valley. Friendly staff greeted us and accomdated for our wheel chair bound daughter instantly.
Nothing like a hot gourmet pizza to warm us up on the first weekend of winter.

My wife and I got married at Killara Estate exactly a year ago. We had a lunchtime wedding mixing Western and Eastern traditions and it was a pleasure working with Kevin and Teearn to plan for our big day. No requests fazed them, and they coordinated wonderfully with our suppliers to ensure all went smoothly on the day.
As it happens, not everything goes according to schedule but the team at Killara Estates took it within their strides and it was a memorable day. To cap it all off, we even had a mob of Kangaroos and a flock of ducks join us for the ceremony!

We recently had our wedding at Killara Estate. Words can't describe how much we had the best time. Nothing was too much or hard. Kev is a legend and always had time for us when we visited. The staff were amazing on the day. The food was amazing, and not one person left hungry. We can't wait to come back and visit every year. We choose Killara to get married for the views, but loved it even more for the food and hospitality.
