Restaurant St. Lawrence

This place has been on my list for a while and finally got to try it yesterday. Everything we ordered from focaccia, croquettes to flank steaks (yes two) were outstanding. There were only two people working in total but food and service were spot on. So glad to find a great restaurant in our neighbourhood that serve amazing food with such great value.

Will be back and take friends when they come visit next time.

One of the best places to taste farm fresh local produce in North East. The ingredients are so fresh and processed in such a delicate manner. It's hard to describe the delicious food. I reckon the natural flavour was perseved but greatly enhanced as well. The restaurant was run by Daniel and Emily, only two persons working as chefs plus serving the customers. The pace was magically great, and Daniel was very caring.

Honestly one of the best dining experiences of my life! We were blown away by the quality and taste of the food. Atmosphere was gorgeous and the owner was a down to earth gem of a human. Will definitely be coming back!

Support local ...... but once lock down over this place worth travelling to, their menu is fab.

Amazing little place in a beautiful part of the world. From the second you're greeted to the second you walk out the door with a belly full.of delicious food and drink, you feel at home. Friendly service. Everything we ate was fkn amazing! Treat your self. You'll love it!

Absolutely amazing atmosphere and incredible food. The owners are so kind too. When we had to leave partway through our meal to get back to our daughter, they packaged up the rest for us and presented it just as it would be in the restaurant. Such a lovely experience 💕

Went here for the first time - excellent food, friendly service, very reasonably priced. You can really taste the attention to detail in the dishes. Wine list is small but great selection - all local and high quality, and the markup is far lower than other venues of comparable quality. Will definitely be back.

Great food and freat service. I would definitely recommend this little gem.

The food was delicious. Stand out dishes for me were the Halloumi with cherry comport, the zucchini yamista, and rose and pistachio pastry.

Drinks list is to the point and reasonably priced.

I’ve been wanting to go here for a while and it did not disappoint. Amazing ambiance and fabulous food made by two great chefs. Definitely would recommend.

My first time here and what a wonderful experience, the food was amazing, the wine... even better and all in a quiet place full of charm and character. Having grown up around the general area, coming back for amazing food and wine was such a treat. 100% reccomend. The service was quick and efficient and we left sufficiently full. Will be back!

Absolutely delicious and beautifully presented food - a mixture of shared and individual plates. We also had a lovely shiraz from the locally sourced wine list. The service was wonderful- attentive but not intrusive, and the ambiance with wood fire, cosy lighting and great music was just perfect. Highly recommend for a special night out with a loved one or group of friends/family.

We had the pork belly, which was superb, but maybe better as a single serve, not a share between two as it was just a little bit too small a serve for two hungry people. Perfectly cooked and just the right crispy crunch. Combined with the potatoes and some really flavoursome sourdough, this was a very pleasant dinner. We'll go again. Thank you.

UPDATE : first time back after Covid etc - and it was even better. The BBQ cabbage and the beef brisket, superb.

Absolutely delicious food paired with high quality local wine. The sharing style menu is great as we got to try many things between 6. Owners are warm and friendly making you feel so welcome.

Thank you for a wonderful meal. We dropped in to celebrate a special moment and enjoyed the degustation menu. Everything was wonderful and we struggled to finish. Even though we were full we had to eat the amazing dessert. We will return soon. Delicious 🤤🍾

If I could give this place more stars I would. The food is soooo good. Great local wine list and the service is the best. Hands down some of the best dining you could ever treat yourself with.
