Beautiful setting, comfortable dining area.
We loved our meals. The mushroom risotto was the best I’ve had. The meatballs in herb tomato sauce were also very good. Crème brûlée was delicious. We managed to fit that in, just! A really delicious meal.

It just makes you wishing to go back.

The wines sleep in your mouth, and you wake up the other day with the sweetest memories!

Didn't have time to try the food, but I can't wait to see myself going back for it.

Went for a wine tasting here. The views and venue were stunning. The wine was really lovely. Walked away with 4 bottles. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. I loved the personalised names to the wines.

Great afternoon had last Sunday for lunch. Food was really good and well priced. Service and staff were incredible, and the kids loved the freedom to run around outside and explore. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Beautiful day for a Redlands Shiraz. We paired this with an amazing cheese board. The outdoor fire was another highlight of our lovely afternoon spent at Payne’s Rise. Looking forward to receiving my delivery case of wine.

An amazing afternoon. Those yummy meatballs - I felt like I was in Italy. Bellissimo. Loved the stories behind those labels - a devoted family business & can’t wait to hear of the next release that encapsulates another family memory.

We enjoyed a really lovely tasting and pizza when visiting last week. Narelle and the team were extremely friendly and welcoming and were able to help us out with a little problem :)

Really beautiful wines made with care and passion and really good presentation of the Upper Yarra. Standouts for me were Brody's Block (Shiraz/Pinot in the LDR style) and the Cabernet.

As a local we really look forward many more visits with family and friends. Thanks again!

Had a lovely time here on Saturday. Beautiful seating scattered around the lawn so nothing feels too crowded. Very friendly service. The food was excellent for sharing and I particularly loved the rosé for a sunny day.

Just had a great lunch for our 35 year wedding anniversary . Good staff, food very good nice to have something other than pizza at a winery now days .I know it's a winery but a beer on tap would be 5+ stars . Thanks Trevor and Carolyne .

I have been here on numerous occasions for different events and what’s not to love! Some of the best views of the valley accompanied with great tasting wine! I also love family owned business and they just do it so well!

We had a lovely time here. Beautiful spot, not too busy, lovely staff. We did wine tasting and the lady doing it was fantastic. We ended up buying a few bottles as the wine was the best we tasted out of many wineries we visited for the day. Highly recommend, we will definitely go back.

Lovely Venue we were in the private function room for a family members 70th. Food was amazing. Liked the Shiraz and Prosecco.
The venue was great for the kids to run around outside. Will definitely be returning.

The staff are very knowledgeable and attentive for wine tasting and we really enjoyed the experience. The new eating area is wonderful. It's lovely to sit in the spacious sunny area overlooking such a great view. It's a pretty good menu with a generous cheese platter, delicious dips and pizzas. What a shame the pizzas are so sparse with toppings. Inches to spare all around the edges. Bases tasted good but honestly pumpkin is so cheap but we could hardly find it.disappointing.Not worth a return visit.

We went to this winery over the Shed Fest. It was very busy and people were being asked to park at the bottom car park which is a bit of a hike. As soon as I mentioned to the young lady who was giving directions that I have a disability, the staff including a very pleasant young traffic warden were excellent and created a parking space for us that was very close to the restaurant. I very much appreciate this experience. The food was superb and the wine according to my wife was great! Keep up the good work guys. Will highly recommend and be back whenever we get a chance.
