There is a stinger net, toilets and showers, picnic tables, a playground for small children, and another one for older kids. There is a lot of shade by trees. Lots of black cockatoos.

Stunning views, good amenities (toilets, beach shower), stinger net, out of the way. Bring your own food and drinks if you want more than water from a fountain. There are no nearby shops.

This is a lovely area. Well maintained toilet area and BBQs. Lots of rubbish bins, and trees that provide well-needed shade. Large car park. And there's a swimming area that is patrolled by life guards, with a net to keep out stingers. One of my favourite areas of Townsville.

Great place to bring a picnic and relax under cool trees. Toilets available here. There is a stinger enclosure for safe swimming. Plenty of grassy area to run around and kick a ball. Short walk on to sandy white beach to enjoy the water, admire the views across to Magnetic Island and breathe in free air. And it is all free.

Great place to have a relaxing picnic with family and friends. The place is clean and fresh air! There are a lot of shaded area and is very close to amenities. If you're lucky, you might be able to take a photo with a lifeguard! :D

Beautiful park with lots of shade and a wonderful playground. It even has public toilets, showers and is right next to the beach!

Had the beach to ourselves, it was fantastic. The water is nice and warm and there are stinger nets to prevent the nasties from getting you.

It's a beautiful beach at Townsville. If you want to visit Townsville. You should go there. It's pour beach😊.

A great place for a cuppa ,nice surrounds & clean facilities. We visit often & will continue to do so.

Lovely shaded area, maintained lawn area and close to amenities. Perfect for family get togethers.

The barbecue areas are just great plus the breeze and the tree shades I just love it
