Penguin Caravan Park

Absolutely perfect location right on the water front. Large grassy powered sites. Short walk along the water front to Penguin town centre. Amenities are a bit dated but very clean and functional and did not spoil our stay at all 😊

I love this caravan Park. The owner was wonderful on the phone plus in person. Beautiful spot for a caravan Park overlooking the beach and ocean . I've seen some not so good reviews, what is wrong with people,it's for campers ! If want the Hilton then stay at the Hilton. This place is great 👍

After reading some 1 star reviews we were a bit reluctant about staying here. The location is awesome and the people running it are very nice. Yes, the bathroom facilities are very old indeed but always clean and smelled clean. Everything worked in there. At the end of the day, it's a camp ground/caravan park, you don't live, sleep and eat in the bathrooms. You're camping people, get over it! We would absolutely stay there again.

It’s cheap here if you pay for non-powered campsite here. Only $10 per person. It’s a great place for ocean views and can see penguins far on the rocks. There’s five of us and we paid for two nights - $100 total. I love the style of the caravan park here. People are peaceful and keep to themselves.

What a wonderful place to stay ! I was unsure with the bad reviews but gave it a go . Doreen in the office was such a lovely lady ! Views stunning ! Short walk with Seaviews to town . Penguin town and Penguin Caravan Park have my vote as a go to on your Tassie trip

The Penguin Caravan Park is such a Beautiful location on the Coastline of The Penguin community.
Couldn't pick a better location to Camp.

Stayed 4 nights with our caravan, beautiful ocean views, easy access to beach and close to main shopping area.
Clean and tidy amenities and ground.
Caretaker and staff are very helpful and friendly.

An absolute Golden Oldie caravan park. Doreen the caretaker always does an amazing job and the view is exceptional.Amenities are spotless and cleaned more than once a day. Do yourself a favour

Its a bit dated, but they are fixing it up. The showers / toilets are clean, and the location is a must see. Parking is easy as well. Will be going back again.

We stayed on a powered waterfront site. Perfect location with easy access to a great town with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Doreen was great to deal with. Would highly recommend and we have just booked to return again soon.

We had a campervan and stayed here on a powered site. It was more than amazing. The site was perfect, overlooked the ocean which was calm for us. Doreen was more than helpful. They have older style, clean, large shower/toilets, Laundry that takes $1 coins. We would come back.

This campsite is one of the best campsites in Australia, you can camp right on the beach and Doreen the owner is really nice and easy to book with. Will be telling all my mates about this place
