Sesame Lane Montessori Children's House - Joyner Circuit

My daughter started here a few months ago and it is an amazing childcare centre, the teachers and management are caring and really try to give the best educational experience for the kids in their care. They go over an above to make sure parents are updated about children’s progress. Cannot recommend them enough!

Could not fault sesame lane Joyner. I was so nervous in putting my 7 month old into daycare, she is now in the toddler room and I cannot fault this centre one bit. The staff are amazing, so caring, always asking me my preferences with her routine. You can tell all the staff are happy in what they do which tells me the management is organised. The centre is always clean and my daughter just loves going there. Thank you sesame Joyner for making our daycare journey a positive one 🙌🏼

Have only been attending for 2 months but so far our experience has been great. From the tour, getting on the waitlist, stay and plays to actually attending the front of house staff and educators have communicated so clearly and have accommodated my seperation anxiety. They gave gone above and beyond to keep me updated on how my little ones day is going.
They fully utilise all aspects of Storypark so I am never picking her up while she is asleep, I know what she has eaten and when her nappy is changed. It means at pickup I can just focus on how her day was and continuing to foster the amazing bonds that are forming.

My son has attended Sesame Lane Joyner Circuit, Montessori House for over 2 years now. He loves going to daycare to learn and play and we all feel welcome in the centre. Everyone is known by name, we always feel comfortable and know our son is in safe hands. The activities and teaching that are offered are incredible, my son is thriving. Would highly recommend Sesame Lane!

We absolutely love Montessori Children’s House! Our daughter has been so happy here, as have we. The children are so well cared for and the learning programs are fantastic. The staff always go the extra mile to make sure the children are happy and safe. My daughter has learned so many new things and loves to come home and share what she has done each day. The learning environments are beautiful and well thought out. Moving to Montessori Children’s House was a fantastic decision for our family.

Both my children have attended Sesame Lane Montessori and I cannot recommend it enough. I am really happy with there method of teaching and practical life skills taught. Centre is always clean, the food always looks delicious and healthy, the Staff are really friendly. My children have built beauriful friendships with other children and staff. Thank you 😊

My son has attended this centre since he was 2 years old. He's been loved and cared for by these amazing and kind teachers. Miss Tracey and Miss Nicki are very approachable and friendly managers of this centre and I can't commend them and their team enough!

We've recently changed over to here and I jave to say I'm very happy I did so. The whole atmosphere is very positive and they always have well planned activities for the kids. I'd highly recommend this daycare.

My son has been going to sesame lane since he was 6 months old. Being my last baby I found it very hard to find somewhere that I truly trusted, and was more about the safety and happiness of the child as opposed to the mighty dollar. I happened to stumble across this sesame lane and thought I would just go in and have a look around. The warmth of the place, the happy chuckles of kids playing and the smell of the food cooking was so settling. He started the next week and we have never looked back!
He’s now 3 and loves the place!

We absolutely love sesame lane Joyner circuit Traditional both my daughters have gone through this beautiful service and both have been so happy here, the staff and management are so friendly and so caring and show so much love and care into caring for all the children each and everyday it’s just like our Second family management and staff showed so much support to us as a family as I got ready to head back to work after having our Second child and they made this transition so smooth and relaxed thank you . The children are so well cared for and the learning programs the educators develop for the children are done to suit all the children’s needs and development and I can not say just how much the staff and management always go the extra mile and go above and Beyond to make sure the children and families are happy and safe and feel there own sense of belonging within the service especially in our child’s room from my family to all of the beautiful staff at Joyner we can not thank you all enough for what you do everyday for our family i would recommend this service anytime

My sons enjoy every day at the centre, the staff are friendly and warm. Excellent and creative program to give plenty of stimulation to the kids and with the recent renovations, the rooms have classy feel to it.

Us as a family love sesame lane joyner circuit the staff and managment are always super friendly anytime you walk through the doors and always say hello and goodbye and are always willing to go above and beyond for anything you need this service is such a family orientated service and was amazing with assisting my wife so much when she was getting ready to head back to work i would highly recommend this service to all my friends and family

The educators here are amazing! The new Montessori house is so well presented and promotes such independence! We love the home cooked menu too!

I would highly recommend this kindergarten, I have seen wonderful results and the teacher's and staff are fabulous.

Fantastic, the staff are brilliant, they are so loving and so accepting with my daughter, as someone who has worked in the industry for a long time I know what I'm looking for and this service is definitely it, I cannot recommended them enough as they are amazing

Kind and caring staff!

We've been with this daycare for a few years now. They feed the children well, so well they don't want their dinner. They have staff retention issues, they have a change of the guard it seems fairly often with in-house management/admin. Now after renovating the place, they suddenly without discussion have enforced a 'shoe free nursery' which was an afterthought of the renovation. They expect parents to remove their shoes in a narrow hallway for a 30 second drop off etc. It's not convient, safe or probably even legal as it's a tiny hallway. So now I can't walk into the room, collect my sons things etc. Seasame Lane seems to have a superiority complex where they think they know better. My son and daughters have always come home sick after attending this daycare, it's been ongoing for a long time The notion they think enforcing parents to remove shoes will not fix a lack of care issue along with sick children is a joke. They do not listen, do not care about parents rights or views. Head office also shows no concern. There are some staff that are wonderful and overall it's a great concept plagued by a staff turn over issue who all want to implment new idea's that are not necessarily for the benefit of the children, parents or center itself. I have had my daughter be bitten on more then one occasion. So I have mixed feelings about this place, presently I am unhappy with their stupid idea of a shoe free anything. Working parents want to just come drop their children off and go, not be dictated to. I've seen kids there with snot covering half their face... now that to me is of more concern then their claim about dirty shoes which clearly they are too afraid to confont the one or two people who they have an issue with. Maybe it's religious the demand for shoe free who knows. There are good things, there are bad things. But our children getting sick attending this daycare, is for us a very annoying part of this. So just be aware, they think they know better. As per their response, they are happy to discuss and dismiss your views :D - side note they also take photos etc of your child and post it on their app which is great if your a working parent lets you stay upto date, see your child while your working etc. Again I have mixed feelings about this place. Good, bad, ok. We've moved from the silly nursery now so....

Not surprisingly but I didn't receive my "automated" anonymous questionnaire after removing my daughter and also received no contact from head office even though her leave application stated we were leaving due to dishonest staff. Dishonest management. My daughter loved the educators but overall there was a lack of management. She had rocks thrown at her head, her face scratched up (which is still scarred 3 months later), choked on a tiny bottle educators left out. These incidents all happened in a 4-5 week period and to top it off management lied to me when I asked a simple question regarding the incidents. Educators were more than happy to be honest with us, but if management is going to lie about our child's wellbeing then they have no right "caring" for them. When I told them I was leaving because they lied to me, I was never contacted regarding the lying but contacted to try and find out who told me the truth. They didn't apologise, they didn't try to reinforce their lies, simply dismissed it. The priority at this centre is out of focus and the area manager doesn't seem to know what's going on or simply doesn't care. I hope parents can read this and make the best decision for their children.

Worst people to deal with, very unprofessional. We were told there was vacancy for our son. We organised a tour, they cancelled, never returned our phone call. We call again only to be told there was no vacancy. We have had issues with 2 other sesame lane services now as well as this one. My son was found outside the Dakabin campus with 2 other children heading toward a main road while educators were sitting around having a chat oblivious to the fact that 3 kids were missing. Then there was McLennan court where an educator was pinching my son and holding his arms so tight he had bruises. He also fell and broke 2 front teeth. They indeed do have a superiority complex. They are far from perfect.
