What a beautiful serene location. We had a lovely stay. You camp right alongside the lake. Ken the caretaker does a fantastic job. He is most welcoming.

Great camping spot 2023! No bookings. See on site manager Ken upon arrival, he'll assist you to a site. Power & water sites around 1/4 of the lake; even on water edge (see rules). Unpowered sites on West. No camping on East - protected land.
2 clean facilities blocks, playground, grassed areas, excellent standard.

Great camping, powered sites on a fair bit of the lake. Awesome sunset over the water. Toilets are older but clean. Fire pits in some camps. Water a bit brown, so fill your tanks before coming if it worries you.

A touch of paradise on a hot summer's day

Wonderful spot almost like an Oasis amongst the fields of grains.
Met by the friendly caretaker who answered all my questions and provided some history.

Caravan sites, campsites, electric BBQ facilities, hot showers, play facilitues for kids.
Has boat ramp, swimming and water skiing and is pet friendly...

Only 10 minutes from Sea Lake and is definately on my regular to visit with my faithful Jack Russell Terrier who is very social and would love to meet someone to play with.

I would give this place 10 stars for the serenity. The lake is just divine with wild birds twitering away. Duck families paddling, Ibis, pee wees, robins. Swam in the lake every day _ so refreshing. Stars and a campfire at night. We camped unpowered away from people- $15 a night. Has 2 amenities blocks. One is new and the other old style. Both clean and tidy.

I only stopped for a break while travelling through the Wimmera. I had never heard of the place and therefore was not expecting much. However, I was to find this is one of those hidden gems. A beautiful clean lake surrounded by Wimmera forest which was blooming with yellow flowers during my visit. On top of all this is well appointed camping grounds. I understand why people don't talk about this place, they want to keep it a secret.

Lovely quiet camping around the west side (unpowered). Amazing bird life - Rainbow Bee eaters, Blue bonnets and Tawny Frogmouths to name a few. Beautiful clear water (lake was full). Some nice bush walks around with info boards. Mid Oct and Mozzie's were lethal. Lots of insects attracted to toilet lights too (new dunny block was excellent). Bring your kayak, bino's and mozzie repellent!

The campsite has all the common facilities: bbq, powered sites with night lights, toilets and showers. The staff was very friendly too.

This place is suitable for a hot sunny day, it’s like having a beach in the middle of a desert.
