Penguin Waterfront Escape

We spent 3 nights here last week and it was absolutely wonderful. Apartment was spotless, sunny, self contained and so very relaxing. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you Terry for your hospitality and we will catch up for that beer next trip. For those who haven't stayed in Penguin you don't know what your missing.

I have stayed here twice - in the 2 bedroom apartment and in the retro studio over the last couple of months. The place is immaculate - clean, beautifully decorated and centrally located with the beach across the road. Highly recommend!

Amazing views, convenient location to shops and tourist attractions, well presented modern apartment accommodation. Two double beds with separate toilets and bathrooms appreciated

Fully upgraded units with attached bathrooms/toilet. Water front view, two IGA store on the steps. Very quite and peaceful site.
One thing missing is no lock for inside door :)
but overall You would love it

A beautifully appointed apartment with two large bedrooms, one with en suite. Direct ocean view and tall ceilings. Libby, the Landlord was so very helpful in securing me a doctor's appointment. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would certainly recommend it to everyone!

Stayed in ground floor retro apartment which was pretty cool for a 70+ couple. Best part was starting the day having breakfast in cosy eating nook with laminex table top .. looking out over waterfront ...the best sunrise...and end of day fantastic sky. Only item we missed was a cooking stove top..but good size provided electric fry pan did the trick. The hosts Terry & Lib also got a 5 star rating. We'll be back. Brian & Marg...South Hobart.

Would definitely recommend, we only had one night here unfortunately but if we're ever in the area again we would stay for longer. Beautiful apartment felt like home.

Magnificent views, very modern and well set up great value for money. I would strongly recommend anyone visiting Penguin to definitely stay at this apartment.

Cozy and beautiful place stay. It was a good decision we picked Penguin over Burnie as it has more characters to it. Don't forget a morning run and meditation before you start a great day in Tas.

Late arrival due to ferry’s late departure was greeted with a delicious bottle of local wine from the owner. Gorgeous. Location. Hospitality. Could not ask for more.

The true test is whether I would book this place again. I definetly would as I couldn't fault the accomodation. Wonderful to have comfortable furniture to sit in and watch tv. The place is immaculate.
