I'm very impressed with Ergon customer service. By mistake I paid too much for my electricity bill. I called the customer service and the next day I had the money back. Very kind and efficient. Thank you!

So impressed with Ergon customer service. My power went out after a big storm and the crew arrived within half an hour and reconnected my electricity. Awesome.

Just a thank you to ergon energy. I arrived home at 3:30 pm, no power and made one easy and quick phone call and the power was back on at 5:30pm on a Saturday afternoon. Great service thanks again.

Originally from Sydney moved to Towoomba and just received a bill for 16days usage costing $95. Called customer service, very helpful and friendly hence 3stars but overall very expensive in addition, explained contributing factors as weather is different and only provider and the costs are for maintaining the infrastructure etc. Advised to use homesmart website on ergon to track usage to minimise cost.

Even with a new call centre, the wait time I had today is still in excess of an hour. Considering Ergon have a monopoly on electricity in my town, I have no alternative but to deal with this unprofessional organisation. This is why it is so important to have competitive alternatives. I am sure if there were another provider people would be jumping ship and then maybe Ergon would take these complaints seriously but, why worry when there is no alternative!!! Criminal!

I called last week. Gave up waiting after 1 hr 12 minutes.
Called again today. Gave up after 1 hr 3 minutes.
Insulting, arrogant, dismissive attitude towards clients. Its obvious they have no competition. Things would otherwise be very different. Utterly disgraceful conduct. Should be shut down.

Have been waiting for customer service for an hour and 47 mins so far and still no answer. Disgusting service
2 hours now. What an absaloute joke you are Ergon. Time for another supplier who is more reliable
A whole new day. Rang early this time. They offered a call back so I didn’t have to wait in line for 2 hours. Just to be called back and put back in the line for 2 hours 🤦‍♀

Ergon is IMPOSSIBLE to contact. have spent over 3 hours on hold during 6 attemps to contact them in last week.. I lodged an online enquiry to which they said they would respond in 5 days and they never responded and it is now 7 weeks. I have been trying to resolve a simple problem for 1 year and cannot.
Words do not describe them. And they operate under Q'ld Government umbrella.

Have been trying to call Ergon the last 2 days from 2pm till nearly 5 pm. 2 afternoons wasted. I'd be on hold for 45 min and they would hang up. This kept going till 4.45 and than I would get a message saying we are now closed. There customer service is ridiculous.

Worst service ever. I called them at 8:00 o clock at the morning for almost 45 mins no one received. Again i called at 1:30 pm for about 45 mins no one received. Again i called them around 3:30 pm for about 1 hour and 30 mins no one received. What a good business you are.

An absolute joke of a company that knows they have the market in Toowoomba and couldn't give a damn! How they are allowed to control the market like this is beyond me...I'd say steer well clear...but there is no other option!!!

All I wanted to do was clarify my address to them since they somehow got it wrong twice on the same invoice. My patience for being on hold ran out at the 1hr and 2 minute mark. Guess I’ll have to try again tomorrow.
