Greater Toowoomba Waste Management Facility

The staff here are friendly and very helpful. We have always had excellent service. The facility is also clean and very well organised. No bin chickens!!

This is one of the best and grooviest tip shops around...Ben is so great remembering us whenever we make a trip out here...thankyou Ben for being a real darling person...the tools and garden products are all here...you can get anything and everything here...you must check it out!!

The lady that works in the box is so nice. She eases my anxiety and makes the process so simple.

Very modern and well organised facility. When you go in, tell the operator what you have to dispose of and they will direct you to different sections of the facility. You can then leave most of your items for recycling, including garden waste, wood, metal, Styrofoam, cardboard, plastics, batteries, etc. Anything that can be reused is sold through the onsite store. The remaining items then go into the general waste section, where it is squashed down. Great work by the Toowoomba Regional Council.

Pretty clean for a dump - minimal bin juice and surprisingly didn't smell like dead animals and rotten fruit. Felt like I was playing an arcade game with the scoopy truck in the general waste section. Staff were helpful.

Easy access waste centre with helpful staff to direct you where you need to go using clear, concise instructions.

Easy to unload.

Bonus being there is a shop to buy salvaged / donated items.

Excellant facility, well set out, great variety of stock, bargain prices. Friendly and helpful staff that show pride in their positions. Best recycle centre by far.

Had to line up today a lot of people there. The staff quickly opened up second lane and to my surprise I was in and out fairly quick. A Great facility.

I like it that there are such great recycling facilities! The staff is responsive and helpful. I also like that so many native trees and shrubs were planted around the facility.

After visiting the Awaba Waste Facility that services the Lake Macquarie, NSW area I had to come on here and show my appreciation for a well constructed and organised waste management facility.
