The Parking Lot Cafe

We had ordered 'I want beans' and 'wayward Hayward' (French toast) as shown in the photos. I am not a fan of buttered toast and was disappointed when my toast came buttered. I think it may be a good option to ask customers if they would like buttered toast.
The food was delicious and the Cafe is very cosy and reminded me of the show 'friends'.

Enjoyed a morning tea of delicious fresh scones. Tables or a lounge setting. Relaxing decor with lots of plants by the window.

Went here for breakfast and couldn't fault it. Potato with chorizo dish was excellent, and coffee was spot on. Friendly courteous staff. Seated outside is a bit of a pedestrian thoroughfare however that was my choice.

Yep, it was a great little find. I had the almond orange cake and my husband had the breakfast potatoes. The cake was moist with a huge flavour. The potatoes were "a proper breakfast" according to my 6' 8" husband. I had one little taste and was rewarded with buttery, herbally, savoury comfort.

Such an unassuming name hides this delightful cosy friendly Cafe I could not go past the first item on the menu French toast pictured for breakfast. A real credit to the owner and staff who contribute to the experience

Quaint little cafe where the food and coffee was excellent.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating allowing us to have our meals gluten free. There were lots of gluten free menu items too.

Completely booked you managed to find a table for two hungry travellers and a dog. Food was amazing. Coffee was tasty too. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Mudgee

We enjoyed our breakfast here, we had The Wayward Hayward French toast (excellent taste) and Poached eggs with beans on toast which also tasted fantastic! Great coffee too - definitely recommend to visit!

Initially didn't plan to come to this cafe, it was actually our third choice. The first one was closed and the second one had a tiny menu. Anyway, the Parking Lot Cafe had a good range for their breakfast menu. We had the Magic Mushrooms and Chorizo with Red Pepper. The food is flavoursome. They also have other things available such as French Toast, Eggs Benny, Corn Fritters and Banana Pancake. Will return here when we come back to Mudgee. We sat outside, they didn't mind the dogs being there.

A little gem tucked away. Food was just delicious and service exceptional.

We sat outside because we had a dog with us, but inside looked cosy, welcoming and although busy, not crowded.

Will definitely visit again next time we're in Mudgee.

We had our first post regional lockdown dine-in at the Parking Lot Cafe. We could not have picked a better place! It was a quiet Sunday morning. The coffee was perfect, food was amazing, and the ambiance was relaxed and cosy. The plants along the window and the home style furniture made for a beautiful space. The menu offered some much welcomed yummy alternatives to the run-of-the-mill cafe breakfasts.

We didn't feel out of place with our two young kids. Our toddler loved the basket of toys provided, and it wasn't an issue getting a high chair for our youngest. These touches were very welcome and would be helpful to any young family nervous about re-entering the post lockdown scene with kids.

The owners and staff clearly put lots of love into this great haven. Keep an eye out for it down the alley and treat yourself!

Had dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The meals were exceptionally good- especially the brisket and white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was great. Really enjoyed our night and will be back.

A charming and peaceful little cafe. The food is fresh and tasty with something for everyone. The service is friendly and efficient, very personable wait staff. Would highly recommend.
My husband and I returned for dinner (11.09.20) We enjoyed the variety of share plates having the squid, falafels and halloumi with veges. The service was good, polite and efficient and I appreciated the wait staff ensuring my food allergies were taken into consideration.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner with a nice glass of local wine. Friendly attentive service. Great range of dishes including a lovely vegetarian dish and a range of home cooked cakes and cheesecakes for dessert. Great value for money.

A fantastic cafe for breakfast and lunch. Great coffee and a menu that is prepared by one of Mudgee's best chef's. Perfect for a meal with a few friends or even on your own for lunch whilst at work. Love this place and couldn't recommend it enough. Keep up the great work B'Ash! Thanks for the delicious meal.
