Taj Indian Restaurant Huskisson

Very nice place and good food.. Service is really good.. The owner is really good.. He didn't check in to see if all is well and how it food taste.. Would visit again when in Huskisson..

Great for vegans. Super helpful staff who informed me that the vegetarian entrees can be prepared vegan, a variety of the vegetarian mains, and also some of the naans! I have never had a vegan naan before. I had the spring rolls, dahl, saffron rice, garlic naan and my friend had the butter chicken for a main. Everything was great.

Very authentic Indian cuisine, amazing food and super friendly staff & great service. Always love coming back and trying something new each time 😊

The food at Taj Indian is some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Their menu holds a variety of dishes which suit everyone (vegetarians, vegans, gluten free) where you can chose how spicy you want it. The butter chicken, mango chicken, lamb korma and the naan breads are all so good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely because of the staff and management team, Emily and Arron make you feel so at home and welcome, whilst delivering quality service to you. Would recommend booking in advance, especially during peak season or weekends because the restaurant is in high demand.

We don’t often get Taj but when we do we wonder why we don’t get it more often. Such delicious flavours in all their dishes, and they’re balanced so well. Beef korma was so tasty and the onion baji were yummy too!

Best Indian food on the South Coast, hands down. The samosas are yummm, not too oily.
The lamb korma is absolutely delicious, as is their butter Chicken. So much food for 2ppl.

This is an excellent Indian restaurant located in Huckinson that offers great food and ample parking options nearby. The restaurant has a decent selection of vegetarian options, and the Samosas and Onion Pakodas are particularly noteworthy. During our visit, we had the pleasure of conversing with the humble owner, and the staff was very responsive and provided excellent service. Overall, it was a great experience, and we look forward to visiting again during our next trip to Jervis Bay.

Visited here early December 23 when me and some of my mates visited Jervis Bay. Not many Indian food options around here BTW.

They not only happily agreed to pack our take away order earlier than their business hours but also chucked in a few extra complimentary stuffs.
The main owner had a long chat with us about many things about Indian food. The food quality here is outstanding as the chef is one the partners in the restaurant (the main owner’s son). He really knows what he is cooking. The masala was just right and the food smelled soooo good. Meats were well cooked, Rotis were soft and curries were blended perfectly with spice.
The girls at the restaurant were super friendly and they educated us on some of the not-so crowded beaches around. Next time we’re going to dine in..!!

Arron and the team do such a great job. A mix of old school really solid staples and base but with interesting twists on their specials board you won't be disappointed to try. Good local wines and beers on the menu too.

Ordered 2x butter chicken, cheesy garlic naan bread and the kashmiri rice.... WOW! It was delicious, piping hot and that naan was on another level. Short wait time, clear restaurant and the 2 waitresses were absolutely lovely and professional. Would 100% recommend and would come again

Great place, friendly staff and delicious food. Easy and very refined menu. I think i enjoyed the food more here than in Sydney. Mr. Sodi very nice and humble person. Loved our visit and enjoyed the food and talks. Will visit again when i’ll come to Jervis Bay.

Tonight we enjoyed a seriously yummo Seafood Thali in Huskisson at the Taj Indian. Food was beautifully presented, with each taster dish complimenting the other…. Not one overpowering the other. Seafoods served in an array of wonderfully seasoned sauces of excellent consistency… and then there were the prawns… succulent & flavoursome from the tandoor oven;
Attentive service & authentic atmosphere… overall a wonderful experience & excellent meal. I will surely return 🍛🇮🇳🤗

Always a great Indian meal at Taj - it’s our go to choice when eating out in Huskisson. The staff are fantastic too. I highly recommend Taj to lovers of Indian food.

Had a great experience. The food was delicious reasonably priced and served quickly. A special mention goes out to the staff. They were all warm, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely visit when in the area again.

One of the best Indian restaurants I've had the pleasure of dining in. We had the lamb rogan josh, mango chicken and goan fish curry with Kashmiri pulao. Every single dish was exquisite and fresh.
Worth stopping by if anyone I'd never hungry in Huskinson.

OMG....I have not been able to find a good Indian restaurant for years....The food is amazing...We had the shared entree....Which was A1...followed by Mains for 2....Mango Chicken, Lamb korma, beef Vindaloo and a complementry small butterd chicken. Large Rice and Garlic Nan......Best service and Flavours Were sensational....Thank u so much guys

Very tasty food and friendly staff. We enjoyed dinner all 3 nights during our stay in Jervis Bay. Must try the Goan fish curry if you like sea food.

We're glad to have tried this place tonight. My fave from what we ordered were the lamb korma and the cheese garlic naan. Lamb was very tender and the sauce is perfect. The cheese garlic naan has generous amount of cheese in it. We also tried the chicken pakora and butter chicken. Great service too!☺

Excellent service and the best Indian cuisine we have had in a long time. The garlic naan bread is outstanding.

A very friendly and helpful staff and service. The owner was personally meeting and greeting all the customers . The food reminded us of our grandmothers food. Highly recommended.
