Great value for money. Big meals and they taste fantastic. Second time visiting recently. First time I got the roast and it was enough for 2 meals! Second time was the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing meal and drink. Will come back.

11 of us for lunch today and all the meals were hot and enjoyable. My chicken schnitzel was cooked perfectly. Service was good 👍 prices great 👍
I belong to a lambs fry club so next time we might come here, was told the fry was delicious and a great serving.

I've been here a number of times with my partner and friends. The food is always tasty and despite being busy they are reasonably efficient with service. I definitely have enjoyed my experiences here. And plan to keep coming for as long as the quality of food stays the same.

I come along regularly with an elderly friend who is a regular here. In the gaming room he is always acknowledged, and his favourite drink is made ready and bought to him when he arrives. The staff often take time to come over and chat with him, are always warm and genuinely friendly. This is of course good professionalism and ensures return business for the pub but it also is a nice place for my friend to visit, and I know he appreciates the attention he gets there.

Edit - have revisited, and still a great choice - beef mignon special was very good, with nice sauce and calamari & prawns. Busy atmosphere, but very quick service & meals, which was good given it was busy. Lots of families which is a nice atmosphere. If you like trying different pubs for meals in SA, then you may as well add this as a must try throughout the year, at least once. If you're a local, then either visit the bar or bottle shop, or at least eat here every 3 months to try the menu.

A friend and I visited. For starters, it's the best garlic bread in the State. The steak special was amazing. Scotch fillet with surf n turf and a creamy sauce. Its a cosy but roomy environment and the staff is quick.

Came here for the first time with my family last Wednesday night and found out about the locals special- we were stoked. Meal was generous and filling. We’ve come back again tonight with our in laws to share a meal and are looking forward to it.

I had the Cottage pie & it was INCREDIBLE. The size of the bowl it came in was huge & I couldn’t finish it. But it was delicious. The sundae was awesome too. The staff are so so friendly (the blonde lady at the bar was my fav) they’re very welcoming and super smiley. Will be back.

I have just spent Christmas lunch in 2023 at Slug & Lettuce and the food was amazing. Great service from all staff . Donna was fantastic she was very welcoming & friendly. The Best cocktails I've ever had. Thanks so much. We'll be back again. Cheers to you all. Well done 👏

Great price for buy one get one at same price. Nice food great family atmosphere. Friendly staff. I'm sorry to say I went to the slug and lettuce last weekend with a table of 12 and the food took over a hour and half and the staff were not friendly besides the dear who was dishing out the roast. The schnitzels were black the chips soggy the fish smaller and greasy. I felt quite ill after eating there and couldn't even eat any of my friends birthday cake. The roast was the only nice part of the meal. There wasn't enough cutlery on the table, bread baskets weren't put out or water bottles and Yous weren't even busy. I don't think our group will be attending there again we chose you over another venue thinking you'd be faster at service but you weren't.👎The staff that were on that day were rude and even overcharged for food that was uneatable. Went here tonight at 6 table of 12 given yesterdays bread rolls. The chip were revolting. Only thing nice was the battered fish. Have you changed owners? Have you changed the cook? Service awful plates and cutlery left on table for 3 hours. Didn't even have a proper knife to cut birthday 🎂 was given a bread knife to use. Wasn't enough forks for the cake. Going down hill 👎👎👎👎
Felt nauseated after eating. Wish Gordon Ramsay went there. A friend said the roast beef was the grossest he's ever had and not enough put on plate your excuse he ordered a small plate for $22 you gotta be kidding you can make a whole roast dinner at that price. Not much on the menu. Not a happy customer at all.

I always visit the Slug & Lettuce when in Adelaide. Great, affordable menu in true British style. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly, accommodating staff.

The English Pub experience and item-filled decor is exceptional. Great staff. We loved our meals served in the dining room. The free cappuccino while using the pokie machines was of barista quality.

Absolutely love coming here for family dinners out, great atmosphere and the staff is incredible. And the food is 10times better, only place that I'll come that will do the steak how I like it

This is our go to Sunday roast.. can't beat it! Fresh cooked roast meats.. beef, lamb and pork with crackling! Their Yorkshire puddings are great too! I'd come every Sunday if I could😁

Nice cosy friendly place, great food and good prices, you get plenty on your plate! It's certainly worth a visit! We will definitely go there again in the near future! 👍🏻☺

Good always consistent quality service always friendly nice atmosphere

Staff were absolutely wonderful! Good for a chat and a joke. For someone who has, on most times crippling anxiety, it's nice when staff make you feel comfortable. 😁
