Don’t Skip Derby!

Derby seems out of the way, a diversion from the Great Northern Highway. And the powers that be aren’t doing a lot to sell the place. But Derby is a diamond in the rough.
And the KECP is a great place to base oneself to explore the many items Derby has to offer.
There’s good facilities, clean and in good condition.
Lots of space and lots of shade. No biting insects at sundown either.
And the welcome from the team is also a gold star. Friendly and helpful with a great local knowledge.

Plenty powered and shady spots. Pet friendly. 2 newly refreshed toilet blocks. No issues during our stay. Go check the high/low tide variance at the jetty. 11 meters on our visit.

Wonderful Caravan Park people are warm & friendly. The facilities are clean & fresh. You can walk to a lot of tourist places & jetty from here and see great sunsets🌞 as well. Thanks👍cheers! Until next time👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

We had a great time here. The staff were very helpful, friendly and authentic. The park is central to everything. We really liked Derby which had a unique feeling to it and providing you follow the managers advice re car keys, you'll have a great time. Henry and Wendy

Great caravan park ,large sites with shade. Good facilities and clean. They do short/ long term storage of caravans as well. For those wanting for the Gibb river road.

The amazing staff were so friendly and helpful. The new management has been so accommodating and always a phone call away to help with anything you may need help with.

It is secured and I love the atmosphere of the park! Definitely do not skip Kimberley Entrance Caravan Park on your journey through the Kimberleys!!

Fantastic facilities, excellent price considering they are the only caravan park in Derby. Large sites and nice and quiet. Great owner, knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Very clean great shady spots. Near the back you will get a great view of sunset over the flats. Short walk to swimming pool.

Nice caravan park. Ladies at reception were really nice and great amenities. It's unfortunate they have young delinquents trying to steal people's belongings at night. Happens very often. Lock your car and sleep with your car keys under your pillow. We had thieves trying to get into our tent at 1am at night.

Fun welcoming reception crew, tidy and green park, clean and well presented amenities, large and easy accessible sites, gas cylinder refills.

Start the night watch at 10pm until 5am walk around every hour during the night Wright down what goes on every hour around the derby entrance caravan park also when army is in town have them do their exercise by camping in and outside the caravan park plus street patrol

Spent a couple of days here last week. Great place to hangout and perfectly located to visit Kimberley attractions. Friendly staff, and good amenities. Definitely worth the stay if you are in the area.

Had a great stay. The owner was very upfront about possible trouble that could happen, but everything was great when we stayed.

Absolutely immaculate bathroom with fans and music 24/7. I never seen a caravan pk with such a clean bathroom! Nice and cool with great baby change/sink area. Lovely caretaker. LOTS of space and plenty of privacy..nearby path to jetty.

Hardworking, helpful ppl run this place. It's maintained well, clean, secure, with good facilities of all kinds. We used the spacious camp kitchen, washing machines and lines, pleasing showers and toilets. We had shade for our camper and chose to stay longer than intended. Booking ahead would be wise if you need shade.

Amazing service unlike other WA operators. Had to cancel my booking at relatively short notice due to border closures. No questions, no fuss just a full refund.

had 20 bookings in total to cancel and many were not as pleasant an experience. Well Done

The management or owners of this park sometimes come across as a little gruff, but we have found them to be super helpful on two separate occasions.

On one occasion, our Travel plans changed, we called and they managed to find us a space to pitch a tent, even though they were full with only 1hour notice. Cheers!

They were amazing in helping us out during a family situation that caused a major change in our holiday plans. We would not have made it back to Perth for the early birth of our grandson if not for the efforts if the staff at Kimberly entrance caravan Park customer service over and above excellent. On top of that the caravan Park is great. Can't thank them enough for what they are doing to assist us.

Absolutely brilliant amenities and camp kitchen. Wonderful helpful staff. We had heard bad stories but had a wonderful experience no security issues as police drove through regularly
