Portside Cafe

Just spend a weekend in Husky and we loved this Cafe.... Great food - the best coffee. Staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed sitting outside looking at the lovely bay. Ella made the best coffee.

I have been many times now and every time I've had a wonderful 'stop and smell the roses' experience here. The did is always top notch and accommodates for any allergies or preferences. The location is superb with views to the water, you can watch boats/kayaks etc coming and going, or watch the birds and fish on the water right below your toes. Always friendly servers and not bad prices. I'll be back plenty more times!

Great place and the staff are very friendly and hospitable. Reasonably priced. Would prefer a bigger serving.

It's the spot where you meet and greet fellow cruise members if you're going for Dolphin watching or Sightseeing around Jervis Bay. We loved it.

Had the whale of a breakfast and really impressed with it. Friendly service with a smile and amazing water views too. Seriously worth it!!

I recently stopped by Portside Cafe in Huskisson for a quick coffee before my Whale watching tour. The cafe has a couple of options for coffee service - sometimes it's served inside the main restaurant, but they also have this adorable little caravan setup where they make and serve the coffee.

The location of Portside Cafe is quite convenient as it's situated right where the main boat sails from for the Whale watching tours. So if you're planning to head out for a day of whale spotting, it's the perfect spot to grab a caffeine boost beforehand.

I can't comment on the food at the restaurant just yet, but their coffee is fine and provided a nice start to my morning of Whale watching. Overall, I would recommend Portside Cafe if you're looking for a pleasant coffee experience in Huskisson, especially if you're planning to embark on a whale watching adventure.

Had a fisherman’s basket, which was beautiful and fresh. Staff were very polite and the whole experience was great

The cafe seems to have some new management or taken a new direction since my last visit. Fast service, delicious grilled chicken burger, friendly staff. Good value! As always, the best views in Husky.

This was our second time here and it is fabulous. Coffee could be hotter but that may be just me! Had the eggs Benny and it was delicious. Meal was served in less than 10 minutes. Ignore the earlier reviews as they must have sorted things out. Highly recommend.

A great little cafe right on the water. Let me say the cakes we had were delicious and the coffee was good to. While it wasn't busy but lots of footfall as people also come in to book boat cruises etc. Watched other tables getting lunch delivered and the food looked fantastic. Beautiful looking fish and chips. Great looking salads also. This is a nice place to sit and watch as it's right on the water. Well worth a visit and we'll be back.

Best feed and coffee in town. By far. Value for money, friendly service, great environment and top views.

Best restaurant you will find in Huskisson! Pricing is on par with the beauitful quality of food, service from all the staff is above & beyond friendly as well as the best views in town

Note: The BAD reviews were either from the past manager or previous chef, the current of both have turned this place around! Don't be fooled by grumpy holidayers, wait times are a continual issue through Huskisson during peak times. Patience is a virtue my friends

Beautiful spot for breakfast, staff were great and catered to our needs, food was fantastic and very quick. Not sure what the low rating is about because the place is exceptional!

I think New Year's Day might have presented a staffing issue?

Order was messed up several ways, charged for the wrong meal (did get refund) a few other minor messed it's with food.

Enjoyed a beautiful lunch and coffee whilst taking in the magnificent view.

Had breaky and it was great. Service was prompt and my and the wife's breakfasts were both yummy. Decent size servings as well. Coffee was really good as well. Had lunch here as well in the past and it was also good. Cafe can get pretty busy in peak seasons but meals still come out pretty quick 👍
