Boca Chica Bar & Grill

Absolutely delicious food and great service. Have been driving past for months but could never pick a day to come try but it was worth it. A great menu - very difficult to choose what to have! I am sure we will be back to try something else

Absolutely loved this place! Can't believe I've lived near it for so long & never visited.
We loved the decor & the service was amazing, staff were personable, kind, really helpful/knowledgeable.
We said to each other "I hope the food is as good as the service!"
The chicken was cooked PERFECTLY, the flavours on everything were so delicious, you just HAVE to try the desserts the were melt-in-your mouth amazing (try the Crema Catalana!!!!).
Oh and they have a gas fireplace! Will have to get a seat next to that one day.

Fabulous food and service. Boca Chica is more than a "bar", it has restaurant quality food whilst maintaining a casual atmosphere.
Primarily a tapas bar, Boca Chica also offers a limited main menu of steaks and paella. The tapas experience in Australia can vary quite a bit but this is high end tapas - quality ingredients treated with respect. There are also platters for nibbles over drinks and banquet options as well as mid week specials. Dessert is also on offer and the dishes we tried were sublime (and good value when compared to restaurants in the city). The wait staff are great and very knowledgeable about the food and ingredients.
Boca Chica is housed in an old building so there are various rooms set up with tables catering for couples to groups with a lovely alfresco area at the front. The walls are decorated with an eclectic mix of photographs from Spain and vintage mirrors and there's a wall of old record covers as well. Spanish music plays throughout our time there which was nice, but it would be lovely to have live music there.

Delicious Spanish tapas style food. We had a jug of sangria which was so tasty, finished off with the best creme brulee I've ever had. The paella dish was my favourite! 5 stars!

My Fiancé and myself came here to celebrate my birthday. Our waitress (Ali?) Was extremely helpful, had a great sense of humor and went out of her way to make our night one of the most spectacular. We eat out a good amount but have yet to find service that is as incredible as this! Ali, you are a credit to the business and to yourself, thank you so much for making such a great inpact on our night.
To top it off, the food was absolutely incredible, the lamb rack was tender and had plenty of flavor, the gnocchi that my fiancé had was incredible also, very light and full of flavor. Our Entree was gorgeous, the Oven Baked Brie was delicious and something that We had not tried before. To top off all this, dessert, the chocolate pudding with the mascarpone cheese, stunning, light, fluffy and extremely saucy. Delicious and incredible service all round!!

I had my 50th birthday here at 1877 on the 29 of july 2017. Thanks to Katie, Gina, Elise as the service was exceptional. The girls were amazing. As for Chef Giorgio his food was sensational and everybody loved it. So thankyou all for making my 50th an enjoyable night.

Had a wonderful evening here, best gnocci I've ever had and there was a decent wine selection.
It was nice and quiet which was a good change from the usual high-traffic restaurants with lots of noise so we were able to sit and have a nice conversation also the staff were lovely.

The food here was perfect, yes perfect. The squid was cooked perfectly, the chicken was excellent and the paella was great as well, although maybe slightly small.

Food has always been good. Good customer service. UberEATS is an added bonus as their arancini balls and polenta chips are yet to be outdone from another restaurant in Adelaide!

Some of the best Tapas I’ve had, I tried the Tapas Tuesday special it was only $25 with a beer. The food was 1st class and generous portion. I will be going back!!!!

Great food, sat outside it was lovely. Would definitely go again as a special treat as it is more expensive then most places, well worth it though

This was probably the best dinning experience myself and my wife have had in a long time food was outstanding. And the front of house staff Annie she was cheerful with a bubbly personality.FANTASTIC

Excellent service, exceptionally accommodating even with our baby and pram in tow. Gnocchi needs work, but everything else was great.

Waitress was lovely and patient when we were getting a bit confusing with our orders! Good food, very flavoursome.
