Du Faurs Rocks Lookout

Came here during early winter as you can see no one around not high season was able to drive my car down great views nice and quiet 👌 👍

Lovely views and beautiful patterns on the rocks at the looks at the lookout. A bush walk that starts at the lookout goes under the cliff. This moderately difficult walk has quite a few steps leads to a truly beautiful area that includes spectacular rock walls, indigenous drawings and views over the valley.

You can walk from the road to this lookout which is 500 meters down hill slightly. You can also drive down close to the lookout and it is less than 100 metres walk to the lookout. There are some great views here and some nice walks about the location. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful view of the valley. Fresh air as well. It was heart broken to see the evidence the bush fire earlier this year. Highly recommended for this short stroll to this outlook if you visit mt Wilson. There is a free and clean public restroom as well

The walk is great to bring your kids and don’t forget to go down near the waterfall. It’s bit challenging to smaller kids but 7+ years old can manage very well.

This has to be one of the best lookouts in the blue mountains. The views are spectacular across the valley and mountains. When I was there, two separate wedding photographers arrived and shot some pictures. Truely amazing.

Such a beautiful easy walk. We had 3 little kids & they did it easily. Need to look out for the red arrows so you don’t get lost. Well worth the effort.

Nice little lookout where you can enjoy the view of the blue mountains area. There are a few short and longer walks starting near the car park if you are in a mood of exploring the neighbourhood. Would definitely recommend it.

absolutely gorgeous lookout. we grabbed toasties from the coffee van and sat here to enjoy the awesome view. there is parking for about 5-10 cars but it’s an easy walk from the fire station.

Excellent views and picturesque sunsets

You can walk or drive to this lookout from the fire station. Amazing rock formations and great views of the valley at sunset. It can get windy here and there are no protective rails. So be careful on the uneven rocks.

People often forget this stunning rocks when visiting Mt Wilson. If you like Lincoln's Rock, then let visit this place to see how they are

Such a hidden gem it’s kind of tucked away in Mt Wilson but my favourite spot when visiting the town. Wonderful views and right on the edge for those with a sense of adventure. Because it was a still & dry day when I went I was able to get as close as nerves could get me. About a 10min drive off the main road to Mt Wilson but worth it.

Checked out this lookout the other day. Great views across the valley. We parked up near the RFS buildings and had a nice walk down to the area. I would recommend checking out this lookout.

Have been here several times starting many years back. Great place to overlook the mountain ranges. Back then it was all dirt track and was also rutted so you had to down go down slowly. Looks like it's starting to get popular here.
