Australia Post - Ryde Post Shop

I would give this business more stars if there was an option to.

One of the best post offices locally. The staff make all the difference and are incredibly helpful & efficient.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and go the distance to make your transaction pleasant.

The post shop is well-stocked with postal supplies, gifts and the odd bits & bobs you may need. They have a decent collection of greeting cards, post cards, first day covers, stamps and coins for the collectors.

I have found some interesting gifts (and reasonably priced too) from the shop.

Some of their notable facilities besides the obvious postal services:

- Parcel locker

- Photo service

- Passport service

- Photocopying

- International money transfer

- Cash out option

- Bill payments

Ryde Post Shop is conveniently located in the shopping centre. You can access the place easily and have escalator, lifts and stairs all in close proximity depending on your preferred access.

They do get busy during lunch time after 3 PM. A good time to finish your post office errands without the big wait would be around 10 AM to 12 PM; it is relatively free around that time.

Overall, a great place to send/receive post, parcels, pay bills, passport application/ renewals and shop for interesting gifts.

The staff at Top Ryde post office are really helpful. Despite the queue out the door, they are never seen stressed and don’t rush you. Have they thought about getting a vending machine for express post sachets and common things that would save people having to queue for something that’s quick and easy. Chatswood post office has one and it reduces the need to queue!

Read poor reviews before going here. It was my first time in Australia and it was the closest Western Union service to me. Despite poor reviews, I got quick and friendly service. Thanks a lot. I walked in expecting service I read online but I got great service.

Recently moved to the area & appreciate the convenience of a Parcel Locker area open 24/7. Download the Post Office App & you can use your Parcel Locker Address! The staff are friendly, polite & helpful within the PO itself. Thanks for the great service!

I've been to this post office several times and my experience has always been positive, though sometimes the queue can be long if I go on one of their busy days. On my most recent visit the manager went above and beyond, taking the time to explain how I can save money on postage without me even asking. I really appreciated the customer service and consideration!

It was a very good experience for us. Nanda is super friendly and very helpful in our passport application. We were skeptical with the bad reviews, but even if it was a busy Saturday the staff was very accomodating and friendly.

One of the best post offices in the area. Come here instead of my local one. The staff are always efficient and extremely friendly, especially the old lady who is usually stationed furthest to the right.
Most of the complaints here are to do with the contractors, not the staff at this post office.

I walked into today at 12:58 by the time I wrote address it was already 1pm ane they close at 1 on Saturdays. But the staff were kind enough to help me after that. Specially Elah she helped with everything I was after.

I gave 5 starts before but Saturday's waiting in line deserves 0 ratings. My parcel was moved to post office from locker because they had some wrong barcode to scan. I was asked to collect I waited 40 minutes in line on Saturday to collect my parcel. They can do something better for just collection must be a separate line or more staff. Horrible !!

The staff are so patient and helpful, especially with challenging passport photos. Very thankful to the team for their help.

Absolutely amazing service. Not sure why everyone complains. It's a post office. These people are doing the best they can. Unfortunately some customers feel special and expect privileges that are laughable.

I went in to lodge my daughters passport application. The staff there were so friendly especially Desy who helped me double and triple checked my form. And Dominic was also very friendly.

Went to this post office at 4:45 pm , picked up a couple of heavy parcels . The lady was very helpful, great customer service.

There was a small queue and the workers got through them fast and were helpful
