I remember seeing evidence of the old railway station many years ago. Long before McDonalds was built. Memory is a bit hazy as to exactly where I saw the evidence but it was definitely remnants of the station. I thought it was where the McDonald's carpark is.... could have been further along Edward St though. D & R Stockfeeds building certainly looks like a railway building and Camden Machinery's yard backs onto Station St:)
