If you are looking for an authentic Malaysian experience, please visit this cosy little spot at Spencer Village. The vadai gets sold out by 10am!!! The roti canai gets sold out by 2pm!! I have yet to try these two. However, I have tried the rice with vegetables, dhal, fried mackerel, tofu and egg and mutton. It was awesome. Teh tarik is a must have!! Great hospitality and very welcoming. Patrons seen to have very close bond with this place. I am beginning to think that this is going to be a start of a love story. Highly recommended for Malaysian food lovers!

Managed to finally get the crispy roti canai in this cafe. So yummy! The curries were flavourful and well balanced. The lentils were a little bland. Lacked salt. But the fish and chicken curries were beautiful. The roti canais were crispy and cooked to perfection 🥰

Best Malaysian and Indian food in Perth. Totally authentic family run. A hidden treasure. The spicy Goat curry was one of the best I have ever had if not the best. Good service and very generous servings. Highly recommended.

More photos were added. Chef Bala told he started this restaurant 12 years ago. He was a chef from Subang Jaya of Malaysia. The curry goat was fresh and tasty. I liked the Teh Tarik (hot bubble milk tea) here. With the noise and the TV sports games on, this place made me felt like as if I was sitting in a Mamak restaurant in South East Asia. (2021-08)
Instead of a real banana leaf, Rasa Sayang uses a big banana leaf plastic plate to serve. It does not have a traditional potable three or four curry serving containers for you to pour on the rice. The curry lamb and curry fish are nice. The Parata is crispy and not so fluffy. You can choose mild or spicy curry as you wish. (2021-03)

This restaurant is an Institution for Malaysians and lovers of good south indian fair. I have been going to this restaurant for 10 years now and have nevet hadthe quality drop. The portion aizes are generous and the family that runs it treats us like one of their own.

This is the best place on Earth to eat this kind of authentic food in our wonderful Perth weather!! I mean eating in South East Asia, you are sweating bullets as penance while enjoying curry rice, roti or mixed altogether. Right here the flavors bring you right back to the source but more importantly the produce we have in Australia is the highest standards. The guys cook with so much soul and the spices are humming along.

Truly amazing food and you cannot go wrong with the food selection, because everything is great!

The price is also super reasonable. If you want a real true experience, this is the spot.

Best cuisines in Perth. Love the food here. Unfortunately there’s no delivery to homes. Visited CRS on a recommendation by a close Friend, Mr Kalai and Mrs Anita Kalai. Food was tasty as if like home cooked. Love the ambience and location.

Very delicious Southern indian Malay curry. Great if your a spice lover. However wish they would have price lists and what curries will be on what day. As I wouldn't mind trying their different curries.

Portions are very generous will definitely be back Goat curry and chicken curry were the bomb.

The food here is authentic . Environment is bustling in a nice family way. Its a feel good place, like mum's place. Service is quick, the clear the tables quickly and people move on. Keep going

Malaysian/Indian food as it should be. The smells coming out of the kitchen. Wow. Just like being in KL. The murtabak was excellent.

best south indian food i have tasted in Perth. everything is cooked to perfection. my favourites are the mutton varuval, mutton curry, goat curry, chicken 65 and the chicken korma. even the vegetables are done nicely. love their briyani rice as well, fluffy and fragrant.
their service is pleasant as well. friendly servers and the portion is pretty reasonable as well. although the place is slightly old, he food makes up for it.
overall, wonderful experience eating here and would love to come back to try their other dishes such as the prata and thosai.

Best dhosa especially the onion and egg, ask for a few drops of ghee, and ask the expert dhosa maker aka Phav to make it crispy.

Been here several times before and always left satisfied. Had 2 x Roti Canai. I watched the lady roll out the roti and cook fresh, and the star for me was the chicken curry gravy. Full of big flavours and not watered down like Suzie's Prata House.
Also ordered mutton varuval, lamb curry, with rice and some chinese vege. Absolutely bang on delicious. Lady even gave me couple free pappadams

I eat here atleast twice a week. Food is freshly cooked with lots of love. Very generous serving at very low price. I have never had a bad meal in 2 years.

The best Malaysian food in Perth. My family and I frequent this place to expose our kids to good food!
Sometimes I feel the ghee thosai (dosa) is on par or better than one from Malaysia.

Pretty decent and authentic Malaysian cuisine. It's hard to find a place like this in Perth. The environment is not fancy, but reasonable clean. And the worker here is very friendly. Food is great and I love the spice! Reasonable price and portion too!

The best malaysian-south Indian fusion food. Spicy and tasty with a good variety of meats at a reasonable price.

Excellent food-Choice of white or Briyani rice with 3 vegetables and serve of non veg either,chicken, lamb or fish with papadom’s and pickles. Reasonably priced with more than eatable portion. The tarik is uncle’s signature drink 👍Roti canai is amazing. Nasi Lemak on weekends only. Our favourite place ❤
