Absolutely fantastic establishment, we will exclusively be eating here from now on! Food was amazing, the menu was extensive, lovely atmosphere, not noisy, lovely drinks menu with delightful cocktails, and it's kid friendly, with a fabulous little kids area! You couldn't ask for more ❤ I wish I'd taken a photo of my dinner before I ate it, but the best I could do is a photo of my empty plate 😂

It's a busy, bustling and energetic place. I don't know how they keep the food so good and the prices so low.
They have a great kids area and the menu for kids is great. Also, thank you from all us patents, for not charging an arm and a leg for a meal kids only eat a quarter of.

Food itself is great. Huge menu and all done well. I got the prawns to start and without being too generous, there was not much difference between 8 slices and the old witches. Was lovely.

Price... Don't need to keep mentioning it, but needs to be tasted and seen to be believed.

It's not fine dining so don't expect it. It's a family restaurant with good food.

Get yourself down for a meal, you won't regret it.

Very family friendly. Great to bring your kids and grandchildren. So accommodating with separate billing. My steak was cooked to my liking and delicious. No corkage or cakeage fees. How refreshing!

Our local eatery and always delivers the goods. Food is fast and delish and the kids play area is just the icing on top! Gets pretty busy even on weekdays so be sure to call and book ahead ☺

We love going to this restaurant. Food is great and always friendly staff. Play area is perfect for parents to just relax and still keep an eye on their little ones.

Amazing little Italian place. Food was fantastic and great menu selection. Staff were fairly friendly. Will return definitely. I had a burger and chips but they do sell pizza pasta and other Italian dishes, Including chicken. Parmigiana

Everything was lovely. A very popular place, so don't expect quiet, intimate dining, and booking ahead is suggested.
There is a kids' play area, which helps heaps.

Eight Slices is a large cafe: it spans two original stores. With a family-friendly vibe there is a play area to one side; but it’s also very popular with seniors too. The food could have more flavour; it probably plays it safe. Fewer pickled vegetables for example. But for a family with small kids, or someone else looking for a VERY reasonably priced lunch or dinner; this cafe is a great choice.

Really clean and the play area had lots of items and also clean.
Staff was helpful and nice.
Shame about the road works but don't let it out you off an extra 3mins drive around is worth it!

Love coming here for breakfast or dinner! Service is top notch, food is of the highest quality and the atmosphere is amazing. They have a play area for the kids which is fantastic at keeping them busy, my 6 year old loves coming here and loves there penne bolognaise 😄

I come here for breakfast regularly, highly recommend for friendly service, good food and the play space for the kids. Even better, today I took my Coeliac daughter and they were fantastic - knew exactly what was safe for her and explained their processes to avoid cross contamination leaving me feeling it was safe for my daughter to eat there.

This was our first time at the restaurant and we will be back. Freshly made pasta has such a great taste. Very friendly staff and the cost was very reasonable, a pleasure to dine here.

Fantastica :) last minute dining out. Attentive servers. Good range selection of food choices. From walking in the door being seated, drink order taken, food ordered everything was great timing. Highly recommend you will be pleasantly surprised.

UPDATE......

Its more than a few months now since I wrote the first review and our latest visit being last night I thought it time for a review.

I have adjusted my star rating from 4 to 5 to reflect that this nothing pretentious little eatery is consistent and always sooooooo busy, so they must be doing something right......

And they are...... Great customer service..... and Great value for money.

Everything can also be odered for takeaway as well........ see what they did there! COVID proof. :)

Absolutely LOVE coming here!! The workers are so loverly, always smiling and having a laugh very beautiful enjoyable place for breakfast lunch or dinner! However the their breakfasts will forever have my heart!!

We have been going here for years, it's a family run establishment and it's always been super consistent.
We went for breakfast this time and it was so good and the kids breakfasts were great value and affordable. I had avocado smash with poached eggs and I highly recommend.

Great food at a great price with excellent service! Definitely going back!

Best full irish brekky around! Cooked to perfection! Defo worth a visit!
