Cafe Vivo

Love this humble little cafe. Bursting with warmth and friendly service. They don't stinge on quality. Try one of their sausage rolls as proof! Bursting with meaty goodness, it's well worth the price. Their food has a homemade feel about it, and their coffee is also amazing. That may explain why there are many regulars coming, who are known by name.

I was served by a young man called Fred. He has a way to make a customer feel welcome, and he served me personally and even brought my takeaway coffee to my table. Later, I found out that Fred is the backbone of this cafe.

Today was my 5th or so visit, and I had the scrambled eggs, with really tasty sausages and a side of baked beans and mushrooms as well. It was tasty to the last bite.

Will certainly be back for more warmth and hospitality, not to mention the fabulous food and drinks! Oh, the prices are fair as well.

This place rocks! Such friendly people at the till, ready to take your order. I tried the scrambled eggs on toast, it was yummy. I love their homemade sausage roll. It is really full of flavour and very generous on ingredients. The owner used to work with children, so she incorporates a lot of hidden veggies in the mix, too. This, along with lots of meat, is what makes this the best sausage roll for miles and miles. Be quick, though, as these sell out fast. I have been disappointed before! But now I go in a bit earlier for this favourite of mine.

Nice ambience, plus you can sit in or outside the cafe.

Prices are very fair, and you can literally park right in front of the shop as there are lots of bays.

Great little Cafe. I always drop by when I am in the area for work. Very pleasant staff, and the breakfast menu is quite generous with its portions for the price. Coffee comes piping hot so careful on the first sip, but it's never been burnt, and it's better than being too cold. Not much seating but does well with the space outside

Amazing staff, delicious food and coffees!

Enjoyed an Almond milk cappuccino and raisin toast while waiting for nearby shops to open. Friendly service with a welcoming relaxing space. Spacious indoor and outdoor seating available with parking available just out front or next to the cafe. Clean with a variety of food available dine in or take away for a quick stop.

Very polite staff, great range of lunch options and very good coffee.
We order a couple of sandwiches, chips and coffees everything was super fresh and delicious. Would definitely go back there if in the area.

Amy is the definition of the small business owner giving it a crack! Heart and soul goes into Vivo cafe and its a great spot for a morning coffee stop or casual informal meetings etc. Amy uses Karvan Coffee which is another local roaster so supporting Amy and Vivo cafe supports other local businesses also. Busy times are mid morning 9-10am and the usual lunchtime rush.

I don't usually give 5stars but this café hidden away in an industrial area certainty deserves a 5 star rating.

I paid $10 for 2poached eggs w.avo on toast and a well made coffee. I've spent 4 times the amount for the same at popular cafe's in the city and other 'popular' cafe's in cannington.

The customer service was great.

A must visit, great staff and excellent service.

I cannot believe how long it’s taken me to even leave this review. I have nothing but gratefulness for Amy, who owns the joint. She has created a place where the community can come and she will as the mother she is look after everyone. I have days which I simply don’t have the energy in me to cook, I know that Amy’s place would be the place to go and have a warm hearted meal with a good cup of coffee. She is nothing but a blessing in that area. So if you’re from Thornlie to Beckenham region, be sure to pop in and support her!!

Absolutely love this place! Always great food and coffee! Amy and her staff are always really lovely with an extra shout out to Chyla who makes an amazing chicken caesar roll and has gone above and beyond to help a hungry lady out 😊

Amazing Coffee and the Best Toastie I've ever had honestly!!

These guys make the BEST coffees that ALWAYS taste the exact same, they have all flavours of syrups and milks for any coffee you want and the snacks are also hard to look past

I always love getting the eggs Benedict here as the chef is always generous with adding on the hollandaise sauce and I never struggle with cutting the sourdough beneath (a common occurrence elsewhere for myself). They eggs are always poached to perfection and the meal itself is delicious!!
A perfect gem of a cafe hidden in between the industrial area.

Great place to go for either a coffee or a meal. The manager Amey is a delightful person to talk to , as is her assistant Gea. Names probably spelt wrong. The staff are also friendly and obliging. Food is good and good value. I visit with a friend nearly every weekend.
