We showed up 10 minutes late to the show we were seeing, we had gotten lost and confused the which theatre we were going to. And had to run through the city to get to the Centre. We felt stupid honestly. But the people at the doors were very kind, and assisted us to our seats with smiles.
Very thankful for how nice they were despite our stupidity.
Great staff.

I have seen many shows here. Love the vibe, and the food, snack and drink selection. You can see the stage from everywhere in the theatre so it's just a case of how quick you can buy tickets and where you want to sit.

I never go front row for comedians but that's just me :)

RBG was a fantastic play and the actor was enthralling and breathtaking. I love that we can see quality theatre.

We went and saw The Wiggles perform at the theatre and it was great! Clean, not overly big, theatre workers helped me find our seats, they were polite. Parking was easy we parked in constitution car park. Love the theatre and thank you wiggles!! 💛💙❤💜

Wonderful venue. Comfortable seating, slightly to close to the person next to me but nothing to complain about. Reasonable prices for food and drinks. Had a great night and the show was excellent.

Went and saw Tom Gleeson doing Hard Quiz here and he didn't disappoint. He was funny, witty and perfectly irreverent to all and sundry. We had a terrific night and, coupled with his choice of audience to participate, it was one to remember.

Afterwards, we walked through the city admiring the gorgeous display of giant luminous bubbles and the light displays as part of Canberra's Festival of Light.

Sneaky side stage view of the Comedy Gala!
Such an awesome building with lots to offer!
This night was the best, may have been "working" but can't beat the view and the chance to see the things the audience don't ever get a chance to.

Great venue for live music and any other form of performance art. I've seen everyone from JPY and friends, Paco Peña and his fabulous Flamenco dance troupe, The Canberra City Band, Elvis Costello and most recently, young Tommy Emmanuel delighted us with support from the fantastic Anthony Snape, who well and truly rocked the crowd, not a bad warm-up! Fantastic venue with a great sound when the engineers are sharp.

A good place to see live music and performances. Even if you're at the back you still feel close to the stage and the acoustics are great.

Tonight I finally got to see Come from Away. It is an excellent show which I was enjoying very much thanks to my nephew, James, for arranging the tickets and great seats.
Unfortunately I have a very bad back and part way into the show was unable to remain seated.
Luckily I was on the end of the row near an exit. I got up and stood there for a while with the lovely gentleman who was manning the door.
After a while I was unable to stand still and had to go out to walk in the foyer.
An Assistant manager was extremely kind. She went into the theatre to retrieve my handbag and I was given a glass of water so I could take a painkiller.
The staff there were so very kind - could not have done any more to assist me. I was feeling such a nuisance but their attitude helped a lot.
Unfortunately I missed the middle section of this fantastic show but the kindness and compassion of the staff left me feeling good about the evening.
Well done and thank you very much.

I purchased tickets for mom um and a friend to see Sleeping Beauty for 18/9/2023.
Apart from the show being great my mum reported to me that all staff were so helpful.
She is on 2 walking sticks and finds it hard to mobilise. The staff without being asked got a wheelchair and helped to get her where she needed to be and made sure to let her know if they could help with anything to just let them know.
I am so thankful that the staff at the box office and and one other staff member(sorry she did not get names)made this a great experience for her as at 85 she does not get out much and was worried it would be hard.

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

Visited the Canberra theatre on our stop over on the way to Melbourne. Saw Tim Minchins Back show here. Great atmosphere, plenty of ushers and staff to assist and plenty of people at the bar. Seats easy to find and were comfortable for a 2hr show. They were raised so you could see over the people in front. Will visit again for shows if in canberra again.

First time attending and the experience was excellent. The show was fantastic (Dracula's). The seating was comfortable and gave us a great view of the stage.
Look forward to seeing other performances in the future.

Great for a concert. You're not far away from the stage.

Always a pleasure to see a show or a concert at the Playhouse. Tonight was no exception.

Amazing staff at the Box Office and concessions stand. Great show by Kate Ceberano and Paul Grabowsky in a nice, intimate setting, and a well organised meet and greet after the gig.
