Very delicious food, authentic. Nice decoration. Friendly staff. Playing calm and peaceful Vietnamese music. Good for romantic occasion and family meal. Beef special noodle is our choice every time. Today we also tried pork chop on rice and traditional pork skew. All very nice. High recommended.

Really loved the vibe. The waitress was super friendly and helpful. The food was yummy. Will definitely dine here next time I visit the plaza.

Mekong (on the Green) is an absolute gem, and has become a regular for myself with my wife and young son. We never get tired of it because the menu is continually evolving and the quality, flavours and friendly service are consistently top-notch throughout.

For us, food has consistently been very good. And we’ve ordered a variety of things. My partner and I are well travelled through South East Asia including Vietnam so like to think we know what half decent Vietnamese tastes like. So far we’ve found the beef to be tender and well seasoned (and abundant) the sauces considered and developed - not just the same flavour combo a lot of budget friendly restaurant typically throw into every stir fry regardless of what is says on the menu. The vegetables fresh, crunchy and high quality. For us the service has been quick and smooth. Prices are great. Especially for quality you’d expect from a city restaurant. Food tastes like it’s been cooked with pride. We’ll be back soon!

The food was very tasty. The spring rolls were great, but a but skimpy on the lettuce and mint. The satay was cooked beautifully, but the sauce lacked depth and was a little too sweet. The prize of the day was the Mekong Spicy fried rice. We had the seafood version and both gave it a big thumbs up.

Service was great. Served water and table was set based on our ordered dishes.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here tonight.
Service was excellent and the food was delicious and each dish was full of flavour. It was a really enjoyable evening, everyone was very friendly and helpful and there was plenty of variety to choose from. Would certainly recommend this place for our next go to place for excellent service,food flavours and value for money 💰💸

This place is FANTASTIC!!! Lovely service and great staff. The rice paper rolls are lovely and fresh and a great variety of them too. The fruit smoothies are incredible too. I've been a few times and loved it. Best restaurant in the Greensborough plaza by far, all the others are franchises but this one has a great family run vibe. Looking forward to going again.

Beauyiful food here, definitely recommend. Freshly made and fast service. I spent about $150 worth of food here for my family and the dishes came out exceptionally quick. And they tasted beautiful. Our drinks were also freshly made and refreshing too. 15/10 for me

Mekong on the Green were absolutely fabulous for a recent 30th birthday party we had! We wanted to order a heap of noodle dishes for home delivery to serve like a noodle buffet at the party, but we had to cater for various dietry requirements (gluten free, vego/vegan). I did some research and noticed Mekong cater for lots of dietry requirements, so we tested out some dishes and they were DELICIOUS!
I went in the week before the party to chat to the restaurant (and warn them a huge order - like X20 mains - was going to come in on a Saturday night!). Michael the owner was fabulous, he actually worked out a better deal for me for the bulk order (super appreciated) and better ways to package the food and separate the cold sides to keep them fresh. He really went above and beyond, communication was great, super friendly and delivered the food himself on the night. It was really fabulous and the noodles were delicious! We had the Pad Thai GF, Pad Siew, Pad Kee Maow and Vegan noodles. The Pad Thai and the Pad Siew were particular highlights!

This has got to be the best Vietnamese restaurant going around in the North East. We come here every Friday night and enjoy all the food. The owners are just so lovely and nice to us each time. Highly recommend the Pepper Beef and the Pho range of course.

Love this place, great chicken and basil stir fry, well priced, super quick, fresh. They cater for gluten free diets very well with a large selection of dishes they can prepare gluten free.

the Vegan Fried Noodle is the best dish EVER. they use the most fresh ingredients, have incredibly friendly service and they’ll happily cater to many different dietary needs. one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne :)

Yummy fresh food and such friendly service. So handy right next door to Hoyts Cinemas Greensborough for a midweek meal when you don't feel like cooking or a date night with a beer or wine or two! I took the family for dinner last night and they have a great menu with lots of variety for families with fussy kids. I had the Bun Marinated Beef Vermicelli Salad and hubby had the Pepper Beef while kids had fried rice and spring rolls. Yum! We'll be back!

The food here really surprises me. The Viet and Thai dishes are both great. Our family had a good time. I hope they are doing good to overcome this difficult time. Thanks.

I go here all the time and the food is always AMAZING! The staff are so friendly and the service is always great. My favourite is definitely the Chicken satay roti it’s absolutely delicious and the watermelon smoothies are so refreshing.
