The Grantville General

I have stopped in and the Grantville General Cafe many times while in town. I have always found the staff very friendly and the offerings excellent. Coffee is really good. The food is great. I always end up going home with more than I need because I want to give it all a go.
By far the best eatery in Grantville.

Great place to stop! Enjoyed a meal, smoothies and cakes here on the way to Kilcunda. Gluten free options and dog friendly seats out front. Recommended.

As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia Tour of Victoria, I stopped by in Grantville and had a great Mocha here on Good Friday.

Just a short stop because we're on a time line but great Long Black, the guy serving understood. And it was worth it. Next time I'm, thought I will make sure to stop in. A Ruden Sandwich sounds like the goods.

Affordable and convenient! We called ahead of time to have our take away breakfast to go and there it was hot and waiting. Same price as a meal at maccas but so much better!! Thank you so much!

The owner isn’t much for chitchat, but his coffee speaks for itself.

Lovely café! Friendly & efficient staff. Beautifully presented food with a wide menu. The sushi was freshly made just for us, the Angus beef burgers were excellent & the juices were huge. Our dog Pepper was welcome & even received a dog-treat. Relaxed atmosphere inside & out, & the selection in the display case also looked wonderful. Highly recommend.

Family enjoyed every drink and menu option that we ordered. Can highly recommd the peanut butter hot chocolate, chai, vegan brunch burger, brownie and more. Kids loved the children's menu too... never seen one so entertaining. Lovely staff and a fantastic atmosphere. We'll be back.

Absolutely amazing staff, food and atmosphere. My daughter's favourite cafe. As an 8 year old she can be picky but she absolutely loves the healthy food at The Grantville General. Blessed to have such a gorgeous place for our girls breakfasts on a Sunday. Thankyou for all you do xx

Amazing, amazing place to stop en route to Phillip Island. Incredible chai (topped with rose petals), fresh food (healthy and vegan options) and friendly service. Super easy to get a park right outside and they have a high chair too. Will make coming to this place a ritual.

I have just had a sausage roll with homemade relish and coffee. The sausage roll is big, and super tasty, full of meat. The relish was really delish and complimented the sausage roll perfectly. Great coffee to top it off. Highly recommended.

I’ve made now two stops here for great coffee and first trip I had a homemade curry pie which was amazing and second time I had a Rueben sandwhich which was delicious and filling. I go for the coffee but stay for the homemade and home cooked food. Well worth a stop.

Great food! Best homemade sausage roll chutney I have had EVER! Salad was amazing. I also highly recommend The Ruben corned beef with sauerkraut sandwich.

With a delicious & diverse menu, the Grantville General Cafe is a must stop on your way through South Gippsland. The service is grouse and the coffee and tea is most excellent.

Stumbled on this gem while looking for a local cafe in Grantville, ordered the Veggie Burger and was not disappointed. The food and service here is utterly amazing with top quality produce and the friendliess staff I've ever met. Would highly, highly recommend it here and would even be willing to drive the two hours from Melbourne just to try the veggie burger one more time!!!!

This is such a great addition to the area. Not only is the food locally sourced, but it is serioisly delicious. Friendly staff, amazing coffee and the BEST hot chocolates. Definately worth the drive if you live around the area and are sick of standard cafè food. Well done guys!
