Butcher Shop Cafe Mudgee

Just love the Butcher Shop cafe - the staff are always friendly and the coffee is sublime. Today, we watched the staff serve, greet customers and visitors on a very busy Easter Saturday, they made it look easy! We enjoyed outstanding coffee and the food was next level amazing ! What a great team - big congrats and no wonder why you get so much repeat business! Thank you and Happy Easter 🐣

The food here is delicious, I've eaten here a couple times & ill definitely be back. The staff are very friendly, & attentive. The coffee, iced teas & fresh cold pressed juices are amazing. Great little business.

The food was superb. Not only perfectly cooked, but well balanced punchy flavours that really highlighted the ingredients. I don't know who was in the kitchen but they clearly know their stuff.

Loved this cafe in the old butcher shop (which closed 20 years ago). Very friendly, chatty guy looked after us. The pancakes were lovely. Good coffee.

Coffee is the best thing there someone can ask for.Sometimes people has to make a queue to order a coffee.This shop was a butcher shop couple of years ago but now it’s a very good cafe, That’s the reason why it’s called “Butcher Shop Cafe”.Literally they have the best coffee in the town.Sometimes they get so busy and they have to stop food service to serve coffee to the customers.

I tried their chocolate milk shake ($6). It was a quality shake. Milk, chocolate syrup and icecream blended, like every chocolate shake should be. It came in a large metal cup which was a good serving size. If their food is anything like their milkshakes, then this place is a quality cafe!

Had takeaway coffee- excellent - and a Reuben toastie - corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut & Russian dressing- very tasty! Great friendly service. Good vibes.

Really enjoyed our meal

Food was of a really lovely standard and flavoursome. There is a delightful twist on some of the old “traditionals” ie the pancake…it’s a Pan Cake ….and quite delicious! Bacon and eggs, smashed avo etc all done with class. Coffee was smooth and consistent, really quite a standout.

Came up to Mudgee for a few days from Sydney. We are foodies and coffee lovers. This is the best coffee here in Mudgee we have had. Wish we had discovered it earlier!!!
The staff were pleasant and prompt too.

Just moved to Mudgee and this is my regular cafe now. The coffee, food and especially the service exceptional.

Popped in for an early morning coffee a few days in a row over the New years period while we were visiting Mudgee. Service was kind and efficient. The gentleman making the coffee and running the show clearly knew what he was doing and knew a lot of his customers. Didn't have time to stop for food or have a good look around.

Great coffee if you have oat milk. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere is casual. Probably the best flat white on oat I’ve ever had.

Cool place. Went here to grab a bag of beans for our weekend stay in Mudgee. Wasn't disappointed either. Quite a good balance of flavours. Had a good chat to the owner who was happy to take the time to talk to us about the area. Nice guy. Will be back next time we're in town.

We had the best coffee and Brekky here this morning. Fabulous service, delicious breakfast on warm plates, and excellent coffee. Highly recommend.
