Longreach Motor Inn

Clean and comfortable room - we stayed in the accessible room. Room a little bit old fashioned but very comfortable and we had a lovely night sleep. Service was good.

But what really blew us away was the quality of the restaurant. We got room service. In rural motels, our expectations are not high, so long as it's a good feed and doesn't involve having to drive after a day on the road, we're happy.

But actually the meal blew us away. I had a perfectly cooked steak, nicely done but pretty standard stuff. My husband had the fish and it would have been at home in some of the nicer restaurants in big cities - well cooked, zesty dressing, beautifully presented. We shared a dessert and it was a fantastic end to the best meal we've had in weeks of travelling.

Will stay again if visiting Longreach.

Family of 5, late arrivals on the 22/12/2023. Arrived just after the storm had passed through the entire town. The owner was out and about checking any post-storm damage but he made certain we received our room key, directed us to our parking and room.
Best place to stay if you ever come to Longreach. Room was very clean and well presented. Our family was very well rested after our long trip.

Right across the road from the railway station so it's great if you're arriving on the train as I did. Key in the place they said it would be for a late arrival. Friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms. Would definitely stay again when in Longreach.

Great motel in the town, friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble. Good location for all the shops and restaurants in the town.

First motor inn experience in Australia for our QLD-NT road trip. Was pleasantly surprised by how much more spacious the room was compared to a regular three star hotel in the city. Everything was included - aaaannd coming with an extra fridge and a toaster. Very clean and comfy bed - just what we needed after our 14hr drive. Staff was really friendly and accomodating. It’s next to the highway and adjacent to a nice school park open to all that has many equipment for exercising. Wouldn’t mind staying for a few more nights if the town was our destination. Highly recommended.

Excellent customer service and polite . Clean and Tidy close to all amenities to town, walking distance.

Rooms are very clean and the people are very friendly.
The reception is super helpful and willing to advise.

Yes the place is looking a little old but working with what they have got it was a great stay. Comfortable bed, cold air con, steaming hot shower, the rooms and bathroom were super clean. Room also had a microwave too which was handy. And a bucket load of paid TV channels, what more could you want? A fair few people in fluro workwear staying here but everything was super quiet at night. Restaurant did an awesome steak!

What a fabulous little Inn, conveniently located next to the best restaurant in Longreach and just a garden walk away from the airport and Qantas Founders Outback Museum.

The rooms were cozy, a little confusing that the deluxe room seemed to me to be no different from the standard room, so perhaps room naming could do with some work, but overall we had a pleasant stay and would stay there again on our next trip for sure.

The beds are as they claim; 5 star - I was very comfortable. More than happy with the size and cleanliness of the room, the service and room provisions. Fantastic location, an easy walk from train station, pubs and town centre. Richard up in the restaurant is a real character and it was nice to start our day with his joviality and humour. Would be very happy to stay here again next time I'm in town.

Managers and all the staff here were lovely. The cleaners were always smiling and did a great job. Rooms are quiet with no ambient noise. Plenty of space in the room with a balcony too.

A wonderful experience .
We ordered room service and the meals were amazing. My husband had the 400g rump steak and he said it was cooked to perfection and was really tasty. I had the butter chicken and it was sooooooo delicious !!!!!!
The size of the meals were HUGE. The garlic bread was so yummy.
Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Handy location when we got off the Spirit of the Outback. Sorry walk to the main street. Good variety presented at breakfast. Popular at dinner time. Friendly wait staff. Rooms were well serviced daily.

My husband and I stayed at the Longreach Motor Inn for 5 nights. The managers were delightful. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was huge with hot showers. Perfect location to all attractions within walking distance.
Would stay there again.

Harrys is a hidden gem. The food was amazing. The staff fantastic and it was packed with travelers. Food was served hot and tasted fantastic.

Very comfortable rooms with the property being in a great location for events hosted in the town - particularly at the Civic Centre, town main shopping street & nearby parks.
