The Branch Restaurant

Used to come here for the sunday roast when I had to travel to Longreach for work. It can get super busy but the food here on a Sunday night is just one of the best sunday roast experiences. Nice brick work and garden dining with great food and drinks really makes this place one of the best dining experience in this part of the world. Would highly recommend for anyone stopping at Longreach to try this place.

Great coffee, lots of friendly staff! Going back for dinner at 6pm! Dog friendly on outside tables and the garden tables at the back of the premises!👍
Our 6pm dinner was really great! The staff had chosen a table by a heater and both meals were superb! See photos! The wine list was littered with famous name wines and the glasses we had were above the normal bar standards! We were reluctant to leave!😂. But book early! as the back garden was busy.

We had such a lovely time at the Branch. We sat out the back for dinner. It was a relaxed atmosphere where we could chat. Fernando was our wonderful host for the evening. Thanks Fernando for your hospitality. Your service was outstanding.
The food was delicious! Two of our party had the pumpkin risotto which is to die for. It was really yum!!!!

My daughter and I arrived to Longreach early on Australia Day desperate for good coffee and breakfast. The Branch Cafe did not disappoint! Perfectly made Latte and scrumptious breakfast. If You’re passing through Longreach this place is certainly worth a visit. I’m looking forward to having dinner and a drink when next passing through.

What a perfect end to a lovely day! We've tried steaks in every place we've stopped in this part of Queensland, and these are the best. The Pork belly is also divine. I even loved the snap peas! They were very helpful in modifying things for our food allergies!

My only regret is that we didn't discover this place sooner! What a gem!

What a fantastic please for breakfast (or lunch or dinner or whatever), friendly staff quick and the Branch is as the name suggests an old bank. The decor is great, whoever designed this made it into a place you can choose to sit out the front or at the bar or out the back. Do yourself/ family a favour and enjoy this place.

A real hidden gem in Longreach. All the food was incredibly well made, perfectly seasoned and just outright delicious.
Although it's a very long way from home for me, I will most definitely be returning once I get the chance!

This cafe was by far the best since we left darwin on the way to Hervey Bay! It is very aesthetic, absolutely delicious sausage roles, would 100% recommend them to anyone. Pies are also delicious and very yum coffee! If anyone is looking for somewhere you won’t be disappointed one bit, this is the place!!

This amazing restaurant in Longreach is to die for and would rival any Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane restaurant! We had a lovely meal in the outdoor courtyard service fabulous along with the fantastic wine selection.

Great coffee! Delicious food with so many gluten free options. Gorgeous decor and lovely atmosphere.

With the "Season" here in Longreach coming to the end and Summer about to engulf us, it was fantastic to have my little brother up from Birdsville and take him to my" GO TOO" place for the "BRANCH EXPERIENCE".

Well he certainly wasn't disappointed whatsoever as for a " Ringer" working on a cattle station, the fancy, lol as he put it food, wine, cocktails and service, he was absolutely floored.

Thanks to Brecken, Jo and the wonderful team that are the Branch, it didn't surprise me that our night catching up would be a great highlight for him and it's definitely his shout next time he comes up.

It was a better than ever evening and I absolutely recommend that you have a night dining out at this cafe, restaurant and bar if ever in Longreach.

A real treat! Came for lunch on a Sunday not expecting such a fantastic experience. Efficient well trained staff, great food and multiple areas to eat insode and out. A lot of thought and effort has been put into this place. Congratulations. We’re coming back in a few days on our return journey.

As a regular traveller FNQ Coast for work, I eat out regularly in some of the nicer places QLD has to offer. The food, service and especially the atmosphere, second to none!!! Top job guys!! 👏 👍

I had the avocado eggs Benny on the 14/7/23 and it’s was amazing! I could’ve had another one straight away! Espresso was lovely and the beautiful staff were all happy and helpful! Beautiful decor in and out as well! I’ll be back! Probably tomorrow.

Upmarket with a flair. Certainly unexpected. Only had morning tea but will come back for more next time we visit Longreach!

If you're going to Longreach you must dine at The Branch. Apart from the street appeal and gorgeously decorated interior, it has the most beautiful garden at the back which is really stunning at night. We dined with friends and it was a really lovely evening. They have the friendliest staff who went out of their way to accommodate dietary needs. The food was amazing. I had the pork belly which was really delicious. Get yourself dressed up and enjoy an unforgettable night at The Branch.

We had a wonderful dinner at The Branch last night. The owner, Brecken, even came a picked us up from the local caravan park. The pesto linguini was delicious and my husband said (for the first time ever!) that it was the best steak he'd ever had (the 400g rump). Service was excellent, and we even got a lift back to the caravan park by one of the staff. Such a delightful experience all around. Thank you!

Excellent food in an outdoor garden setting with subdued lighting misters are a great addition on a hot night a bottle of wine can be had at a reasonable price an enjoyable evening greatly enhanced by our professional and friendly waiters Zara and India kudos to them
