Been here multiple times and it never disappoints!! Chan’s has a lovely cozy ambience and the food is absolutely delicious. The ladies who work there are super friendly to recommend us some good dishes and we got complimentary kimchi as well. We ended up getting some dumplings, fish cakes, japchae and gimbap, all of which was done to perfection, although the japchae could be a tad more flavourful. The dishes are really good prices too, we ordered four dishes for two people and we were very full by the end of the meal. Can’t wait to come again to try other things on the menu!

Was recommended by wife's work manager, so we came here to give it a go...very good restaurant, great Korean food and very good cured food and authentic Korean pancakes...etc. got a lot of inspiration from this restaurant...good quality and good business model! Highly recommended

Great home style korean food that ranks near the top and worthy of a visit, however didnt take the crown jewel for any of the dishes we tried. We had the tteokbokki, a kimchi pancake, and a few gimbap. The tteokbokki, while nice, was a little more watery than we usually have and prefer, it also lacked a bit of spice (6/10) where we prefer it around the 8/10. The rice cakes were awesome and likely locally made, cooked well and not overcooked, which is a non-negotiable. On the kimchi pancake, the flavour was good but it lacked the crunch and light char/ smokiness that we prefer on a pancake. Also, it didn't have the "sour" bite that I like to get from a nice spicy, well fermented kimchi based pancake. The gimbap was large and delicious, but a little light on seasoning. Seemed to be missing some sesame oil and very little pickle inside, which makes gimbap such a dynamic food. We will visit here again and continue trying dishes as there is plenty to taste and also have as takeaway. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and craving korean!

This Korean restaurant is absolutely fantastic! Their dishes are fresh, delicious, and authentically flavorful. Whether it's bibimbap or fried chicken, each bite is a delight. The service is also incredibly attentive, and the atmosphere is clean and comfortable. It's definitely one of my favorite Korean restaurants in town!

Delicious Korean food that only operates during the day. Ordered japchae, kimchi pancake, bibimbap, fried chicken, fried dumpling. All of them were really good. Saw many people bought takeaways too. Would come back again!

Wonderful, simple Korean cafe opposite the municipal buildings in Camberwell. Food is tasty, and authentic. Service is fast and efficient. A great place to try some flavoursome Korean favourites without. Reading the budget.

Chan Korean is one of my favourite Korean restaurant's. I come every 1-2 weeks for lunch and they never disappoint. The service is great and the food is amazing. I recommend the Beef Bibimbap, Tteokbokki and the Kimchi pancakes.

I came here a few months ago to get a quick takeaway meal, found the restaurant to be affordable and received great and fast service, was eager to come again. Finally had time to sit down for a meal with my partner. Service feels very homely and genuinely friendly. The owner and staff were all very polite and served us with great smiles! The food was great, as I remembered it from the first time I went, the menu was simple with a decent selection of what I assume to be authentic Korean food. Cooked perfectly and flavoured just right. Serving size was more than enough for my partner and I. Will definitely be back next time I’m looking for a simple, tasty Korean meal.
