Really nice service!

Had a cappuccino which tasted better than maybe 75% of cafés I've been in!

The owner (?) offered us some sort of coffee beans extract next time we go there but it was my last day in Melbourne and had a long drive ahead of me. When he found out he insisted for my friend and I to sit and taste it. So we did.

Can't recall what it was exactly, but it was a strong tasting short black with a mix of plant.

Well done! Whenever I am in back near Footscray, I'll try and swing by again.

My experience at Royal Footscray cafe was nothing short of magical. As I approached the cafe, the rich, inviting scent of freshly roasted coffee beans greeted me from outside, promising a unique experience. Upon entering, the warm smile and gracious welcome from Dani, the owner, made me feel like I had just stepped into a dear friend's home.

Sitting amidst the traditional Ethiopian decor, I savored every sip of the aromatic coffee. It was a taste of Ethiopia right in the heart of Melbourne, and it transported me to a different world. The intimate and cozy ambiance, combined with Dani's genuine hospitality, created an atmosphere that was both comforting and exciting.

Royal Footscray cafe truly is a hidden gem within Melbourne. It's a place where tradition, culture, and exceptional coffee converge, leaving you with a sense of discovery and a desire to return. If you haven't experienced it yet, I wholeheartedly recommend making the journey to this remarkable cafe. You won't be disappointed.

My go to cafe! I feel like I could be in Addis Ababa upon stepping inside here. The amazing aroma of incense and roasted coffee beans. Danny is a delight and has a beaming smile that shines a mile away. The coffee is next level and made with love. A very friendly and open atmosphere. A must visit for anybody
