Four Birds

We happened across this quaint cafe whilst exploring Darwin’s various arcades. In fact, this location is unique as it used to be the old, open air cinema. The butterscotch muffin was decadent and delicious and the special, four cheese toastie is worth the extra cholesterol on your arteries - yum!

I’ve been to a few places around Darwin for coffee, and this is by far my favorite. The food was incredibly delicious. And I was really surprised by how good the salad dressing was. And that’s coming from someone who isn’t a big fan of vegetables. I wasn’t going to eat it, but it was that good I wanted to.  Not a bad menu selection, either.

Quality ingredients make the food here so good. Coffee excellent, and I’m a good coffee addict! Tucked away, not always busy but worth the search.

After another busy week - halloumi included with breakfast ! What a great treat at Four Birds Cafe in Darwin. Excellent, hot coffee as well.

What a delightful little cafe this is, set in a pretty arcade off The Mall. I'm a traditional-iced-coffee addict and the friendly staff made me the perfect iced coffee which is hard to come by these days with the trend being for iced latte. Hubby said his hot coffee was perfect also, and we both enjoyed a caramel slice and a peanut butter & chocolate bliss ball. Highly recommend this cafe if you are in Darwin. Thank you ladies!

A beautiful little cafe hidden away that is worth the visit.
From walking in to a big smile & a hello, to being served very quickly with a lovely latte (beautiful artwork on top too) & the food was delicious, fresh and well priced.
Fresh flowers arranged on the tables & obviously plenty of regulars coming back as I dined in, who were all greeted with a big smile also.

Will definitely be back. Great value but more importantly good customer service which is rarer to find than an original top 40 on the Billboard charts these days! 👍🤭🥲

Hidden in Star Mall, excellent coffee, excellent service and a really tasty egg and bacon roll! Attempt to find it and you will be rewarded!

After a week of hotel breakfasts, I was looking for something different and found Four Birds just off the mall.. What a refreshing change. Great coffee, fresh food and friendly staff and a relaxing environment. Highly recommended

The best customer service and hot chocolate in Darwin. Sheryl and Maria who work there are always friendly and take orders quickly and make the best coffee drinks.

Stumble upon this gem! Beautiful breakfast! Finally a cafe that puts passion into their food service! Loved it! In a quiet courtyard. Seems to be the locals favourite for coffee and a hidden gem from the visitors. Highly recommend!

Sheryl is lovely made me a coffee which was lovely. I had the avocado on toast with feta & cherry tomatoes. I enjoyed my breakfast here staff are friendly and welcoming.

Healthiest you can find around Darwin, cool music, nice Vittoria coffee spresso done by an Italian girl that knew what she was doing.
We tried the Turmeric Latte, really nice too.
Great place to chill out and enjoy a good coffee.
All the baked sweets looked amazing.

Small cafe with good food. I had the ham off the bone sandwich in a bun and was very happy with the freshness and flavor. I also had a Nutella Affogato, which was a first for me! It had a very nice flavor with the ice cream and Nutella mixed in. The coffee shot really hit me strong, so I would not recommend this to light weight coffee drinkers like myself, but it was a tasty adventure.

Cute little place out of the heat. Lovely coffee, and friendly staff. As a man who works in old theatres, was awesome to see the old shell of the star theatre used in this area.
