Cafe Konditorei Baumgartner

We were at this cafe on Wednesday on 9.08.23 . A waiter , Leo immediately impressed me with his friendliness and extraordinary sweet genuine smile. It’s so rare nowadays to see someone like that. I complimented his little tie on his collar and asked him if it’s special Austrian style, Leo answered that he just likes it and it’s not part of the uniform. Someone trying to dress up nice for work, bring gentle and really nice to people, I felt real respect. It looked like Leo really likes his job, and he is doing it excellent. The drinks and cake were served fast and beautifully. The cake was really delicious. Leo was attentive to us, we had a chat . Thank you for your service! We had really pleasant experience. The atmosphere is really great. Amazing view. Not very pricey. I highly recommend.

The view of the lake is wonderful, I really liked the deserts.

It's a cute Cafe in the Center of Gmunden facing the waters. Gorgeous view although it was a bit foggy when I visited.
For the food, I had chicken schnitzel and spaghetti unfortunately I haven't took any photos but it was delish. The torte was a little different, don't get me wrong it was heaven in every bite.
Toilet was clean and well maintained
Unfortunately I left my scarf there and I haven't went back to ask since I was rushing to catch my train back to linz.

Great staff, very helpful and friendly. The food was great and you can buy Gmunden souvenirs here. They have a nice indoors part with a view of the Traumsee.

Overlooking Traudensee! Fresh orange juice. Glorious atmosphere! Wonderful attentive service! Delicious pastries and European breakfast !

If it's nice weather sit outside and enjoy the view of the lake Traunsee with its castle and the view of all the hills around with majestic Traunstein on the first place. The food was very good - we had breakfast for 2 persons with absolutely fresh rolls and croissants, with very good ham and cheese and vegetables and home made spread and some small austrian sausages and eggs and 2 kinds of marmalade... For drinking fresh orange juice and water and coffee. Everything for price around 27 € and it absolutely worth it!

I love 😍 this place. The view is amazing. Every time different, dipending on day time and weather.

Excellent service, kids enjoyed the food, very accommodating considering Covid restrictions, they went above and beyond and delivered the food outside to us. A+

Wir dachten nicht, dass unsere Hochzeitstorte so ein Highlight wird. Die Bilder sprechen jedenfalls für sich und die "inneren Werte" schmeckten ausgezeichnet ;-) Außerdem hat dieser spezielle Punkt auf der Hochzeitsorganisationsliste rundum Spaß gemacht - vom ersten Gespräch inkl. Kuchen kosten in der Konditorei bis zur verlässlichen Lieferung an unserem besonderen Tag.
Vielen Dank an Julia & Matthias bzw. die Konditorei Baumgartner, die mit viel Liebe die Torte zubereitet und unsere Wünsche erfüllt, sogar übertroffen haben.

Mit Abstand unser absolutes Lieblingskaffee! Sehr lecker Mehlspeisen und viel Auswahl! Wir kommen jede Woche an diesen besonderen Ort und werden mit unserem Hund jedes Mal herzlich in Empfang genommen. Jedes Mal bekommt unser Hund ein Wasser und der Service ist super!
Das einzige, was ich persönlich empfehlen würde ist:
-bei den Mittagsmenüs eine vegetarische Alternative anzubieten, da diese leider alle fleischhaltig sind
- und ich würde euch empfehlen, die Auswahl der Milchalternative zu verändern, denn es gibt bereits sehr leckere Hafermilch (Barista), bei denen man einen perfekten Milchschaum hinbekommt und viel besser schmeckt ;)

Absolut zu empfehlen. Solche netten Mitarbeiter, die schon einen beim reinkommen sagen wo man am besten sitzen darf. Woanders kann man erst mal suchen. Hier ist es voll, kein Wunder bei diesem tollen Ausblick. Die Qualität der Torten und dem Eis ist wirklich klasse. Es gibt aber auch kleine warme Gerichte und Frühstück. Wir kommen wieder. Danke für diesen schönen Nachmittag.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden und das wichtigste - Die Torte schmeckte exzellent! Es blieb kein einziges Stück übrig 😉

Erste Adresse im Ort, wenns ums gemütliche Kaffee trinken geht. Auch hervorragende Torten werden hier stets frisch zubereitet.

Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Wirklich auf Zack. Kaum bestellt, schon hatten wir unseren Kaffee und Tee. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft.
