Beautiful sights and panoramic view. The cable car ride was interesting and also had a nice view of the surrounding towns and mountains. But the hiking experience was something else that everyone should try out.

The wooden walking route is 1400m long and it rises slowly up. The route ends up to a 39m high platform where one can see the awazing wiev of the Alpine foothills and the Salzkammergut. One can have fun by sliding on a 75m long slide from 28m high platform - which we did: a child, an adult and a senior… we had lots of fun.

Cable car ride offers spectacular views. The skywalk lets you walk at treetop level, enjoying magnificent views of the lake and surrounding mountains. A climb up the viewing tower is a must!

Such a fantastic time at a unique viewpoint. The restaurant at the top was wonderful. Brilliant food with views of the surrounding peaks. The treetop walk was fun and informative. But the main attraction of the tower was something else. Being that high up and looking over Austria as far as the eye could see was incredible!

Magnificent... But you need to do some walking up i.e. more than 1 km round trip. After reaching the Grünberg by the cable car, you can walk through this wooden marvel. You will enjoy great views of the lake and mountains. It is safe and stable. On high ground you feel refreshed. It is easy to walk but takes some time to reach the top. But it really worths.

Very special and great wood construction. Beautiful view over Gmunden, Lake Traunsee, Traunstein etc. This run is also possible with small kids and wheelchairs because of a security fence and no stairs. On some spots there are something to read about animals and the area as well.

Another Treetop Walk which we have visited (Lipno/CZ was the first and Bachledka/SK second), as always nice views and interesting parts for the kids.

Embarking on a cable car journey promises a breathtaking spectacle of natural beauty. The skywalk, perched at treetop height, offers a splendid vantage point from which to savor the stunning scenery of the lake and the majestic encircling mountains. Make sure not to miss the opportunity to ascend the viewing tower - it's an essential part of the experience!

The region abounds with picturesque landscapes and offers an expansive, panoramic view. The cable car ride itself is an intriguing adventure, affording passengers a delightful perspective of the charming neighboring towns and the rugged mountain terrain. Yet, it's the hiking expedition that truly sets this destination apart, an adventure that I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to undertake.

In conclusion, the cable car ride provides a splendid opportunity to witness awe-inspiring vistas, with the skywalk and viewing tower adding to the allure. The region's beauty, visible from the cable car, extends to the surrounding towns and mountains, and the hiking experience, in particular, is an absolute must-try for all.

This is pretty awesome and unique place. It's very safe but still nothing for people with fear of hights. The view is absolutely stunning and the slide down is super easy, safe, and fun (don't brake or you can get hurt). Definitely a highlight of my trip to Austria this time.

Great place to visit with amazing views onto the lake and Gmunden. Entertainment for kids and even a slide! Also amazing for the hot day to enjoy the cool of the forest.

Excellent viewpoint, you have to take the cable car to reach it, or by foot. 11 euros/person ticket price. The construction is really beautiful and fun (as you can descend by slide for +2euros). The views from above are breathtaking. The children would enjoy this trip as all the way up to the top there are pictures to learn about nature in a funny way, and also small games to play. However, the giftshop is a dissapointment, very high prices (6 euros a magnet).

Provides a spectacular view of the mountains and countryside. The structure is a continuous ramp that spirals up nine (?) times. There is a tube slide that you can slide down for 2 Euros. It was closed when we were there.

What an extraordinary place in Gmunden, on the Grünberg! Built in 2018, this path leads you along a trail through tree tops up to a sightseeing platform towering 40m or 120 feet over the ground with a breathtaking view over the Salzkammergut's Traunstein and Traunsee. You can reach the path easiest by using Grünberg cablecar, ascending on foot will take around 1u30. Worth a visit, and worth a revisit! We will come again!

Very nice path and great View. Dont miss out hiking up Grünberg, and skip the lift, it is worth it. Short but steep. Sliding down the tower ist fun 4 Kids and adults as well, but no real adventure.
