The hotel is located in front of the beautiful lake. I enjoyed drinking beer and the nice view at the same time!! I absolutely will visit here again.

Good vegetarian selection, great vegan(!) curry, and tables stable enough for architectural accomplishments. And yes, it's an easy train connection from Vienna, Salzburg, etc.

Great old style hotel right on the banks of the Tegernsee.
Professional and friendly service at the reception, bar as well as at the restaurant recommended.

We recommend this hotel wholeheartedly despite limited free parking and slightly less comfortable beds. The location is amazing, staff great (actively smiling, which makes a difference) and breakfast one of the best we have ever had - including delicious Nespresso Coffee. You cannot go wrong unless you absolutely need a/c, which we understand no local hotel offers.

Beautiful hotel on the north shore of the lake. Gmunden is 1 of my favorite places in the world. The hotel is nice with a restaurant and patio on the promenade. There are more reasonable places to stay and better food to be had though.

We ate at the restaurant here and food was great and service amazing. Beer was cold and food was ready quickly.

Very quiet in winter, and rooms were very nice. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Only one cafe open in the morning, but really enjoyed breakfast. Nice place to walk around, even in winter
