Great place to have dinner. Very friendly service & hotel staff. The best place you can stay in Engalm. Not that romantic as the other huts, but way more quiet - you are not being awaken from house shaking when cows pass by :) We enjoyed sauna a lot after 18km hike. Agree with other guests, some parts are a bit older, but still great value for money. Some breakfast items were not fresh... like juice and vegetables... but bread was great and coffee ok. 5 stars for overall experience

Did a stop here during my bike ride. I had Kaiserschmarrn, the portion was bigger than I expected and taste was great. Staffs were friendly and quite relaxed. The view from the terrace was also beautiful.

Definitely should stop by after a long walk in Ahornboden. We only came for some afternoon tea, the cakes and apfelstrudel were tasty, love the decor style as well.

The employees were very nice and friendly. The whole hotel was clean and in modern looking. The food especially the "Karwendel"-cake was delicious. The sauna was perfect to relax after a long hiking tour.

Beautiful location. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Our room is small but adequate, with a stunning view.

Rooms are comfortable. Dining room has excellent food. The surrounding mountains and countryside are gorgeous.

we went there after a full day at the sylvenstein lake. you don't have to pay for toll after 6 pm and the drive to the end of the valley is gorgeous. the restaurant had the best deer rost I have ever eaten. the view up the steep mountains is breathtaking, while enjoying dinner.

Lovely friendly staff. Great ambience to suit the locality. Prices fair. Super coffee and cake.

Ein wunderschöner Ort. Wir lieben die besondere Natur, die einem als Gast zu Füßen liegt, die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeberinnen und fühlen uns immer super wohl in den neuen Zimmern. Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist traumhaft. touren beginnen direkt vor dem Haus. Wir kommen jedes Jahr wieder.
