What a beautiful place to be! Boat trip is a priority. You can chill on beautiful boat with bar and nice toilets and of course enjoy the pretty View. We loved it ❣

Beautiful part of Austria, well worth a visit to enjoy the sun and water activities. Amazing hotels with private lakefront bathing areas.

Can get crowded and restaurant prices are a bit high.

Lake boat trip is great with bar onboard.

The traditional ships that have plied back and forth across the Achensee for many years. Always a must when we visit!

You can drive towards the lake and park along the road. There will be a lot of parking space, though you need to pay at a machine. Tickets can be bought on the boats, also with credit cards.
There is a nice kiosk on the ships, which are very modern. Make sure to check the rest days of the restaurants and huts along the stops, so that you do not get disappointed.
On the boats there is everything you need. Also the staff is very nice.
