This is one of the places I could go on a regular basis for years, without feeling bored. The food is a feast for the eyes and for the palate: the taste, the presentation, the ingredients. No need to mention the exceptional wine from the region. On top of all that, the service is extremely professional and friendly.
The price might be way above average, but everything you get in this place is. Absolutely worth it.

Great service, delicious food and a great atmosphere! A really historical beautiful building as well. Only downside is a bit noise from the main road just outside.

Exceptional food - cosy atmosphere - great service

Even though we decided very last minute to get lunch and also arrived only 30 minutes before closing time the service was very polite, attentive and patient. We sat in the garden under large trees which created a pleasant atmosphere under the sun and held off the light rain that lasted for a few minutes.
The food was excellent - both in taste and also the arrangement. The dessert (a souffle) was especially noteworthy. This is definitely restaurant to remember and revisit - also because the indoor rooms are also very inviting.

Great Wachau wine & Delicious Austrian kitchen!

A must visit. Absolutely loved the space and ambiance - so charming and cozy. Service was impeccable and the food was soooo good. The value that you get here is unbeatable, I had a 4 course meal and 3 glasses of wine for about $100 which in the US is not very common! Had such a magical night here dining solo and hope to return soon.

Totally unexpected as just walked in but the food was very creative and delicious. The restaurant is also very pretty and the wines are very good quality. We will be back for sure 🙌🤩

What a wonderful experience. We had the seven course menu with wine pairings and it was amazing.

Their terrasse is simply beautiful. All courses were great and the pairings matched perfectly. We were even surprised by a white wine accompanying deer.

I strongly recommend if you are around Krems or Dürnstein.

If one thing then dumplings with peaches, mmm, you could not imaging without trying ;-)

Based on other people’s reviews we ended up in this restaurant and what a joy it was. Excellent food, great wine and very professional service. Whenever we make a road trip in the region I’ll make sure that this is on our route. On warm days you can sit outside in their beautiful garden. The inside is very stylish and done with so much care and taste that you feel welcome directly. I would recommend to share and taste as much as you can when eating there. Make sure you go hungry.

It was a great pleasure to eat here. I enjoyed every bite. Ok, it was a little bit pricey but they really deserve every cent for such a great meal and fantastic desert.
