This is a MUST every time we visit the Wachau. This place is great! The wines are excellent, the food is good, but our highlight is their Marillen-Streuselkuchen. I'll take a train and then walk all the way there just for a piece of this baby! :)

Beautiful garden , bountiful platters and excellent wine.. Service is friendly and top notch... Spend the afternoon eating and drinking and be happy with the bill...Much more forgiving than other places in town..

We stopped here for some wine and an apricot cake when cycling the Wachau valley. It’s a beautiful location, the food and wine were fabulous and reasonably priced . Service was great also. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful garden they have! You’ll enjoy yourself a lot. Friendly staff, quick. They had no warm food options for lunch but we enjoyed the cheese, ham and fish on offer! Surely will come, not least for the fine selection of wine on offer as well.

Really great place to sample typical Gruner Veltliner and other white wines from the area. Traditional plates, mostly cold cuts, spreads, etc., but they pair nicely and the prices are super low. Gorgeous setting, huge capacity for bicycle parking.

As a part of the Wachau Valley wine tour, we stopped here for a (long) delicious lunch and ended up staying to taste several wines. Excellent food, really nice servers and amazing wine in a fantastic setting!
