Very nice locality with amazing staff and delicious traditional food. 100% the best restaurant to eat in the area

Stayed 3 nights...just wish we could have stayed longer. Some other reviews complain about the price...yes it is somewhat expensive but well worth it to us. Owners are very wonderful and made us feel welcome. The owner found us sitting on a ledge outside our room drinking a bottle of local wine...took us to the top of a hill on his golf cart. It overlooked the Danube, village and vinyards. Definately going back!!

One of my favorite restaurant in this region.
They have great collection of good wines. You will get excellent authentic Austrian food there. Last but not the least the stuff is extremely friendly.

Further, they have a beautiful terrace from where you can enjoy the beauty of nature while having a drink. If you are in this area I will definitely recommend to visit this restaurant.

We dinned here and it was one of the highlights of our trip in Austria. The waiters were nice, spoke English and helped us in choosing our wine, the venison with roasted apricots was really good, and the apricot knodel was nice. Thank you to the staff!

Excellent restaurant, probably one the best ones in Wachau. Good service and friendly staff. Except the boss lady. Maybe she just had a bad day, but so rude. If not the boss himself wouldn't have been that nice, I would have taken my business somewhere else.

Fantastic location and hospitality. Spotlessly clean. Excellent food. We travel to Austria all the time and the hospitality with Christian and Manuela was world class. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We stopped here for a long lunch on a rainy day. Nice food and wine and good service.

Great restaurant and the owners keep an keen eye on things.. The service and food reflect it.. Make a reservation if you want to be sure to get a table on the terrace.. The venison schnitzle was so good I went back the next night for more..

Absolutely wonderful in every way. Rooms have been superbly renovated and the new restaurant terrace is perfect. A special treat is the garden for quiet relaxation.

Family owned. Extremely friendly and informative about the town, history, and their wine making. They shared history of apricots which is the second means of income. How about apricot BBQ sauce? Every family member contribute by making items to sell. Such as scarfs, pottery andvjewelry to name a few.

We came for lunch and everything was more than perfect ! Very nice authentic Austrian food fresh and tasty ! Excellent service as well. Highly recommended

We came here for the restaurant, VERY VERY GOOD! Highly recommended and delicious. Prices are acceptable, must try if you are in the Wachau Valley!
