Speckbacher Hütte

Great views, comfortable shaded outdoor seating, attentive service, excellent food and drinks. Drove out there purposefully, next time I will plan a hike around it.

We sat in for lunch, the waitresses were really patient, the view and the food was great.
The place is animal friendly, they even have their own log they could drink water out from.

Food was outstanding, location with a stunning view and absolutely wonderful service. Make sure to call ahead to reserve a table!

A very nice place, perfect to unwind after a hike. Food is tasty, service is efficient and done with a smile, the view is beautiful. What more can you ask for?

Amazing hut with many food options (vegan as well) and very friendly personnel. We will surely come again.

Beautiful area with great scenery and views of the Rax and Schneeberg. The "Hütte" is very well run with good service. There is a 100 year old roderdendum from the Himalayas to the right of the terrace.

Sehr gutes Essen. Sowohl die Suppen als auch die Nachspeisen (riesige Portion) haben köstlich geschmeckt. Wir wurden rasch bedient und mussten nie lange warten. Im Winter ist es angenehm warm. Der Ausblick vor der Hütte (im Sommer mit Gastgarten) ist toll.

Ich kam gestern am 14.10. mit der Reisegruppe IGLAUER mit einem Bus zur SPECKBACHER HÜTTE. Leider wurde für diesen Bus mit 38 angemeldeten Gästen kein Parkpatz reserviert. So musste der Bus vor der HÜTTE parken. Das war unschön. Es hätte genügt wenn wir ältere Gäste ausgeladen worden wären.
Das bei so einem herrlichen Wetter so viele Gäste hier waren ist verständlich. Das Personal war trotzdem sehr bemüht. Mein Suppentopf war nicht besonders gut, kein Geschmackt und zuviel zusammenmengte Teigwaren. Suppenreste. Was aber auch nicht geht ist , dass mein vis a vis soooo lange auf das Schnitzerl warten muss. Die Kellnerin erklärte auf meine Frage. Naja zuerst wird eh die Suppe gegessen. Nein , das sind 2 verschiedene Bestellungen. Wenn darauf vergessen wurde , sollte man es sagen. Ich möchte aber trotzdem wiederkommen.L.G.
