A great place for a hike, it‘s kid friendly since the path is not hard. There is a great view from the temple and you can enjoy watching the sunset from there.

If you are close, you should visit this nice place. It's a short trail from the village and we only have a small problem to find right spot where to begin. Except very nice temple there is not much to see, but we have a great time.

The temple is worth the physically demanding hike uphill for sure! Nice view, good for taking some breath taking pictures and the temple is beautiful as well.

An easy climb up of about an hour, will be rewarded with a nice view over the surrounding area. Beautiful during all seasons, especially in winter after snowfall.

30 minutes of steep walk uphill, you find a monument erected in memory of the battle of aspern (1809, Napoleon lost v. Karl of Austria) in form of a greek temple (classicism). Nice view, people also come up to party up there. Please don't make a bonfire, it's not only illegal, but surrounding pine forests also burn like tinder in summer.

Many paths to choose from, the views are incredibly, is a very good place to exercise, breathe, meditate, walk, we like it very much.

Mödling is the capital of the Austrian district of the same name located approximately 14 km south of Vienna. Mödling lies in Lower Austria's industrial zone. The Mödlingbach, a brook which rises in the Vienna Woods, flows through the town. Near Achau it joins with the Schwechat.
