Wachau-Camping Rossatz

Even though there is construction work going on which the sight kindly pre-warned me about the view from our camper more than makes up for it.spotless cleaning facilities too.

Wonderful campsite. Great view across the river. Very clean, all needed facilities (campervan), friendly stuff. Don't forget to taste local red vine. Good access to the river to enjoy evening riverstream swimming.

Nice camping site with beautiful views over Dürnstein. Site had a decent and clean shower facilities.

Really clean toilets - something you don't always find in camping places. And great view...

Limited menu (not by Austrian standards though) but excellent restaurant not using a lot of salt like so many in Austria. We found the staff very friendly, good English. Literally a stone's throw from the river, often open when nothing else is, kitchen has an afternoon break and closes mid evening, but well worth a visit.

We stayed only one night, but we liked it here. Really nice receptionist and she spoke Czech! We could order bakery for another morning. Toilettes were clean. It was calm in the campsite, maybe because of cloudy days. There is not so many place for tents, but it´s cute. Very nice camp at all, can recommend it.

Awesome camping place! Very friendly staff, good services, the cleanest showers/bathrooms I ever saw on a camping place. They even have small lockers with a plug inside to safely charge your phone/tablet/GPS device or whatever.
The area is also extremely nice with a fantastic view on Dürnstein. It is a very quiet place, so very good to rest.
Totally worth a visit!! :-)

Great scenario and bike trails along the Danube

Excellent location on River Bank opposite Durnstein. In middle of wine country, good cycle paths and restaurants on site and nearby. Toilet and showers first class. Reception very helpful.

Big, clean showers and toilets. Charging stations with key to put away your phone is a very nice touch. Friendly people, nice view and even a fridge. Great!

Great campsite beside the river. Great views. Helpful staff. Watch the cruise boats go by

Stop for one night with bicycles. Wonferfull welcome, great facilités, the best in 1300 km of Donau. Cross the river for a nice visit and try the Marillenknodel at the restaurant. We loved it.

Simple camping but has everything you need.

Lovely location on the river Danube. Quiet. Easy to find. Plenty of spaces available.
