Beautiful hotel among the Alps mountains, the pool and the facilities are really good.
They try to be self sustainable with the water, electricity and some of their food which was for me a plus.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food on their restaurants was exquisite!.
The wellness area and spa was fantastic with the indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, steam and jacuzzi

My goodness I didn't want to leave this castle. It was absolutely breathtaking when driving up, entering, and staying there. The staff was always helpful and accomadating to whatever we needed. Our food experience was wonderful the food was so tasty and filled us to just right and not overfilling, and several seating rooms. The spa was so relaxing swimming in and outdoor, jacuzzi as well in and outside. My wife was treated really well by the masseuse. Unfortunately didn't gold and not enough snow for skiing, just means we have to come back 🤣🤣. Highly recommend the tower room, we had a fire place that they lit for us, and so much space for a fair price. When I say we didn't want to leave we did not want to leave lol.

The hotel really met our expectations! We went for two nights to escape the pre-christmass stress and relax a bit. There were some minor defects in otherwise perfect impression, but more on that later. The whole hotel from the location, lobby, restaurant all the way to your room are very warm and cozy. It really has the lavish vibe to it, something that feels special. Personell is very nice and professional. Rooms are spacious, clean and full of light. Definately get a room with a view into the valley, the experience of waking up and looking out on the Grimming mountain is a second-to-none! The only thing a little annoying were the lights in the room - we found no way to keep just some of them on, so either it was dark or full light parade on. But again, nothing too bad. Overall dining experience was very good. They are on a verge of fine-dining, but staying there on purpose. The 4-way menu if filling and profesionally designed. Not to mention they grow their own herbs, use only BIO-grade ingredients and cooks really know what they are doing. For the breakfast bufet the same applies, whatever you look for - there it is! I especially recomend their Egg Benedict with pumkin oil and seeds! The only slight let-down was the coffee. Breakfast coffee, I get it. Comes from machine and gives you the kick you seek. But in the lobby bar you only get a mediocre Austrian Julius Meinl coffee, which really doesn't meet the expectations. Moving on to the wellness and pool area. All good Saunas are generally OK, however both steam.baths are made of plastic and it really has the 'plasticky' feel. Also there is no cool-down pool, only showers, which really is a shame. Other than that the general hotel area is amazing, you really are inside a medival castle areal.
Now to some things that were not really OK, but nothing experience ruining. First - we ordered a Junior Suite. When we got to the room, the bed headbord was torn away and it looked like someone just left it like that. Something you don't really expect to see... But they changed our room no questions asked. Second thing was a stain on a bath-robe. Also something you don't expect. But to end on a positive note - we definately will return and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for relaxing vacation with high quality food and incredible environment.

Shampoo was not there in my washroom, but after a one call to room service, they arranged it for me with a min. That's what I call an amazing room service. Overall experience was good and thier meal have something special spices in it which makes food even more delicious.

We planned on spending two days at the Schloss Pichlarn, but ended up having such a wonderful experience that we extended our stay. The service was top notch, the food (and presentation) was amazing, the spa was spotlessly clean and relaxing, and the view from our room was spectacular! Highly recommend for a relaxing first-class getaway! We'll be back!

Wow wow wow is all I have to say. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed, the location here is just amazing. Surrounded by green hills and mountains, it’s especially beautiful in the morning when the fog is lying just above town. Breakfast buffet has a great selection. There’s a few different restaurants during the day or evening to choose between, you never need to leave the property. Lovely outdoor and indoor heated swimming pool with lots of lounge chairs, sauna and Jacuzzi. You get provided with a robe, hotel slippers and a large carry bag, which I found very convenient to carry things to the pool. Hotel is very quiet, bed is so comfortable and room and bathroom is very spacious. I went on lots of nice walks around the hotel property and surrounding town to admire the views that are everywhere. Can’t recommend this place enough! I can’t wait to return and will continue to recommend it to all my friend’s who travel Austria. There’s also a train station within 10 minutes so you can arrange a hotel transfer if you aren’t traveling by car.

Winter wonderful! We have stayed in the Schloss Pichlarn for the long weekend and it was really great, truly Austrian experience! It was almost like going back in time. The interiors are well kept and all the staff dresses traditionally.

We were staying in Junior Suite with balcony for couple of nights.. The view from our room was amazing. The staff in the front desk and in the Restaurant (Mrs.Doris Mayer) were so friendly and helpful. The food was great and we love the Pool/Spa area so much.
Overall it was a great stay and we would love to comeback again next time.

If you are looking for the perfect Austrian experience stay here. Kind staff, accomodating rooms and incredible views. Do not miss their dinner or breakfast. I've frankly not had a dinner as such in a long time. Thank you Pichlarn Staff!

A true 5star experience. Friendly staff, attentive but not bothering. Wellness area is beautiful, the adjacent golf course offers nice views and entertainment. Simply a great place to escape for a few days.

The hotel belongs to the network of different romantic hotels. This one is in the middle centuries castle. It still has that atmosphere, when you go alone in the evening rhrough the halls. Some stories tells about the ghost in the dungeons. But now the interior is very good. It is quite luxurious with carpets, mirrors and comfortable lighting.

Very good price-performance ratio. There are many different packed options for pairs young qnd elderly, for those who preferrs good food available the whole pension scheme (lunch or dinner included). There are special room for lovers with two rooms one living room with fire place and big bed (watch out may have two mattresses). But the view from balcony covers all.  There is a champaign bottle  for pairs

The wellness area deserves extra description. Big indoor pool, big outdoor pool which has a pleaded view on the mountains. The water is always warm, what makes it even better during the winter, when mountains are under snow. There are also a lot of saunas with different temperature. Everything is very custom oriented. You have drinking water, snack bar and separated resting area.

Not to mention the four different restaurants with high quality food European, Chinese and typical Austrian. The service is excellent. Special gratitude for the splendid breakfast. Even there you have two options -buffet, or a la carte

Genuinely friendly and still posh enough to make you feel you’re getting your money’s worth! They’ve thought of pretty much everything here - and the breakfast buffet is outstanding.
