Zirben Alm

Has the vegetarian version of gröstl. A little pan with fried potatoes and some nice vegetables. Great savory afternoon snack. Not too heavy. Very nice.

I like this place. Terrace is not that large but it's surprisingly big inside and the place was packed! For a good reason. Full of nice people working there. Great vibe.

Came back the a few days later and just had to try their Kaiserschmarrn. Served as fresh as it could be. With a big portion of cranberries. Super yummy. This dish alone is a reason to come here.

Lovely mountain hut. Great food and nice service staff.
We enjoyed their Kaiserschmarren and their Zirben Icecream.
There is a great playground for kids outside the garden.

Visited 2 days in a row because of closed lifts. Very good service and quick! Menu has plenty of options and food tastes great!

Had a currywust with chips, which was fantastic! The chips are cut into these "c" shapes to maximize their surface area, which made them taste fantastic! Also had a hot chocolate here which was very welcomed when it was cold outside.

5 on 5, can't think of anything negative. Traditional Austrian kitchen cooked to perfection. Staff was very friendly and quick. Cosy interior, clean toilets, ... Could have stayed there for the rest of the afternoon if I didn't have to ski back home.

We only found Zirben Alm on the last day of our holiday which is a shame as it's excellent. The food is superb - best chips we've had on Obergurgl's pistes. It's probably also the most expensive lunch we'd had while skiing, but we thought it was worth it.
Lovely staff, extremely efficient service and the place itself is warm, cosy and looks like it's recently had new everything. Traditional interior with lots of solid wood, and beautifully decorated for Christmas.

Best Goulash soup we found on the mountain. Lots of meat and wonderful depth of flavour. Tomato soup also lovely-potentially vegan?!

After a walk in the Zirbenwald I stopped for a late lunch at the Zurbenalm. I had a traditional Austrian cold plate and a couple of beers. The service was excellent and friendly and of course the food was excellent

THE best steak ever! Went for evening meal ski season. Grear value.

A must place to eat at if you're in town. The live music night is a brilliant experience if you can get in!

Great place if you're skiing. If you go for dinner and need a taxi back to the village, make sure you book ahead ....
