Hotel Riml

We are currently in the middle of our Christmas holiday here.
The location is fantastic.
The food is amazing!
The staff are so attentive and friendly.
The fact that they pull off this level of luxury half way up a mountain really is incredible.

The hotel has direct access to the ski slopes straight from the ski locker room and requires no further transportation to get to there. Furthermore, there was a variety of different activities and games throughout the hotel such as golf, billiards, arcade games and darts. The hotel also consists of luxury spas and saunas which have an outdoor whirlpool overlooking the slopes and mountains as well as an indoor pool with an outstanding view. The staff were all extremely friendly and willing to meet the guests requires and requests all while keeping up an amazing pace. I would also like to credit Lady Ioanna for being such a wonderful waitress. She was truly charismatic and attentive to the guests which is greatly appreciated. Overall I enjoyed my stay to the fullest and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good time or is a fan of skiing.

It was our aim to get some skiing, some wellness/SPA and good food over the Easter holidays, and the hotel Riml has scored perfectly in all three departments ... and even the weather was good!
The location of the hotel is right next to the chairlift and the slopes, the very well stocked sports shop with friendly and competent consulting is integrated in the hotel, and each room has its own locker in the ski room with heated boot rack. Perfect for ski/snowboard fans.
The rooms are generous, bright and cozy, with a nice, clean bathroom (of course with heated towel rack) and comfortable beds.
Food was good and plenty - we loved the fact that the hotel terrace was reserved for guests only, so no stress to find a table at lunchtime or later, enjoying the so called 3/4 pension with a huge afternoon buffet. Dinner was almost overwhelming - so many tempting options at the salad bar and a huge variety of entrees, two options of soup and and meat or fish or vegetarian main course (with some extra choices available on a weekly menu) and if you still manage to have dessert then there is always a beautiful plate with a combination of 3 different flavors. And after all that indulgence, you can still head to the cheese buffet and/or help yourself with an ice cream from the ice cream cart. One small hint: maybe offering some typical Tyrolian specialties would be nice as dessert option?
We had a few beauty treatments and massages and both Dora and Elmira were very competent, kneading out the tension from our limbs caused by the long ski days, and enjoyed the pool, sauna(s) and the relax area.
If this all sounds too good, here are two points to remember, though. Hochgurgl is not a village with lots of infrastructure, shops, restaurants, etc. - it's over 2000m high and basically consists of 7 hotels and 2 sport shops. The hotel Riml is big with 99 rooms and lots of staff - so if you are looking for personal service in a cozy family run hotel, this may not be the place for you. Also note that it is an adults-only hotel (min age is 14).

Ever since we arrived to hotel door, everything was handled perfectly. Someone took our car keys hand over glass of prosecco and dream holiday started. Excellent service, great food all in all real value for the money. Special thanks to Sauna Master, what a pro. We are from Finland and still he was able to give us a total new sauna experience and it was really good. Price level in hotel (drinks, food, massage) was OK comparing the quality of the hotel. In another words high-end hotel with decent pricing for extra services. Afternoon snack was amazing same as dinner and breakfast. The room we had was very nice, good daily cleaning. We will return!

Best ski in ski out, topped by great service, good food, overall set up, high standards overall. Liked very much the detailed sauna Aufguss - that included some background info about the fusions used. Interesting!

Im in love with the location and the hotel! When we arrived we were greeted with a glass of champagne. It has a very beautiful entrance! The staff are always super friendly and happy to help. The spa is amazing. The location is absolutely stunning. The food is beyond delicious! Even if I wanted to, I could not find any reason to complain.

This has been our second stay at the Hotel Riml. It has a very nice atmosphere, which made us feel at home from the start. Everybody is extremely friendly and professional. The quality of food and wine is very good and covers a wide range from traditional Austrian to creative International. One night all the guests were invited to the kitchen to pick their starters right there from the kitchen tops and ovens - a very good look behind the scenes!

We had a lovely Christmas and great New Years Eve Party there.

Overall a great hotel with the little extra of its location - one starts skiing when you step out from the elevator (literally) and finishes there as well. Thanks to every member of the Riml team for making our stay so enjoyable!

EXCELLENT ALL OVER! The hotel staff were very helpful, friendly and competent! They were very quick to respond to requests. I needed to print something out, I had barely sent them and by the time I got to reception, they had already been printed out for me! They even bought some cough medicine for me and provided me with a humidifier for the room, which helped me enormously. The lift from the ski room floor straight out to the run and so close to the ski school meeting point is so convenient. We had a great stay. Thank you Hotel Riml!

Wonderful location, family oriented place. The personnel are very helpful and kind and did whatever possible for us to enjoy this holiday. Moreover, the food is one of a kind, with a chef who should hold at least 2 stars Micheline. Everything on our dish was selected so careful to merge together and it was arranged to perfection. The house wine blended well in the menu and we purchased several bottles to remember this wonderful holiday. For those dependant on internet over holiday, the connection was pretty bad, with a maximum of 1MB download transfer and often disconnected. If arrive by car, make sure you hold chains. The hotel is placed at 2200m above sea level and the road is pretty steep. The hotel personnel will help you if stucked on the road, but it would be better to be prepared. Overall, a place we will visit every year. Thank you Riml.

Wonderful hotel in an incredible location!! This was our second visit to the Riml and it continues to exceed expectations. The hotel and wellness facilities are superb and every member of the team could not be more helpful. The Sky lounge wellness area is a superb place and the sauna master Miguel is exceptional. We were also very well looked after by Janos and Edit and we will definitely be back!!!

Have been to the superb Riiml Hotel 13 times with my family. Three generation and we all love it.
Snowboard or ski from the hotel terrace up or down. Very well run hotel by the Riml family. Lovely food, accommodation and service. Perfect winter holiday.

Best combination of perfect skiresort and hotel with spa and indoor pool right in the center of the ski area. Food and service are good as well and slopes are far less crowded than in party town Soelden which is 15 minutes away

Hochgurgl is one of the best places in the world for skiing and Ski- & Golfresort Hotel Riml is a really amazing place to relax! We've been there three times and we can't wait to go again!

Having visited Hotel Riml foir many years we are never disappointed. Continuous improvements year on year!!

Only came here for lunch, super great place to ski too for a lunch stop, so much better than the options on the mountain! Would always ski down (it's near to the mittlestation) now and stop on their deck for lunch in the sun!
