We couldn’t love this restaurant enough!! To start the food was delightful, the person that attended us which I assumed was the owner was very nice and attentive. Cakes were so delicious and the soup? I couldn’t had enough! Fresh apple juice did not disappoint. The place was cozy and beautiful. I have to mention that you need to pay with cash so make sure to have some before walking in. Food is fresh from the day and prices are pretty good. Plenty of parking and kid friendly! If you have a chance you MUST make a stop here. I could not recommend it enough! It will not disappoint you! Also, make reservations!!!!

This is your authentic, no-frills, only-locals kind of dining experience in Upper Austria. Genuine an delicious food, in extra-generous portions, prices well within the reasonable (€20 pp, a starter, a main and a drink, couldn't get anything else in!). Maybe you'll get one or two suspicious glances from the patrons if you're not a local but we were treated like kings. Recommended!

Lovely cosy family run gastro pub, serving homemade Austrian cuisine. Erwin was very friendly and showed us pictures of the food as we don't speak German. Cash only. Casual and relaxed atmosphere.

A good restaurant serves homemade food. They don’t have a menu in English but the owner was very friendly and did his best to explain each position and helped us to make the right choice. The food is simple but delicious, the portion is big and the price is super reasonable. It is recommended to visit.
Keep in mind they don’t accept cards, only cash.

The food was very tasty and the portions were huge. We were very hungry but when we finished the soups we were already full :)). Good food and good value for money.

“Gefüllter Bauch” - pork belly filled with bread dumpling, roasted to an absolute perfection with crispy skin bits. We found this place pretty much by accident but finally got the chance to try something different than Kariwurst which you can get anywhere. Definitely recommend if you don’t mind deciding what you want on the spot, as they don’t have a standardized menu

They were about to close the kitchen and they suggested 2 typical dishes that were delicious. Very nice people and food is awesome. It’s a pity that we are staying here only one night, we would have loved dining here one more time. 100% recommended!

Excellent place to eat no wonder why locals go there even during weekdays, all of this for a good price. The place have a nice atmosphere too, if you are travelling around Austria and happen to be around the area, be sure that you will find good food here.

This was such a great experience. The owner was extremely friendly and really helpful with the language barrier (we speak little & terrible German) he went out of his way for us and even had some photos of menu items for us.
Food was delicious and prices were excellent, including the beer

12/10 Absolutely recommend. We found this in maps, quite late and lost, and it was the perfect choice. The owner did everything he could, above and beyond, to help us understand the menu and serve us exactly what we wanted. The service was outstanding, the food was great and price was very cheap compared to every touristic spot around Austria (12€ per person) Just amazing.

Perfect lunch stop whilst on SRW cycle tour. Pleasant and shady beer garden, and very friendly people.

Needed carbs to keep me going all afternoon, and the Kaiserschmarrn mit Kompott didn't disappoint. Delicious, and generous serving. (Fluffy pancakes with apple sauce - ask for 'schmorrn').

This hidden gem was just fantastic! Off the tourist path and I found it by accident. Service was quick, although I didnt know what I ordered I was delightfully surprised as it was one of the most flavorful dishes I've had before. Schweinebraten

The food was delicious, portions were huge, and the prices were decent! The chief was very polite and helped us with our orders :) Eventhough there is no English menu, you can search for all on the internet and learn something new :)

This place is perfect for experiencing the genuine cuisine of Austria. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is cosy, and the staff is friendly. If you have the chance to visit near Bad Goisern don't miss this place you will enjoy it with every sense you have.
