We strolled up at 7pm to Hanger-7 and were disappointed to see all the lights off! Upset, I walked to the entrance anyways and was greeted by a lovely front desk receptionist. I asked her if they were still open since online it said they close at 8pm. They were still open! Don’t get thrown off by the dark ambiance - it’s just part of their vibe. The interior was awesome. Airplanes, F1 cars, and helicopters of all size and colors. All the staff were incredible and happy to explain the different vehicles. We loved the dark mood and music. There is a bar and upstairs viewing area as well - we weren’t allowed to go up since it was too late in the day. You can easily spend up to an hour here. Also: bathrooms are super cool too. Best part? This place is completely free! Go give it a visit.

One of Salzburg’s hidden gems; you should absolutely check it out if you’re ever in Salzburg (2 hours away from Munich or Vienna). The place is very nice and exhibits great variation of Redbull’s “very expensive toys”. Honestly one of the best places I’ve ever visited in my entire lifetime.

Fab place and free! Some fabulous exhibits from old planes to F1 cars.
The actual venue is amazing, being a big glass bubble. You get up right close to everything.

What a great place to visit, if you’re into this sort of thing this is the place for you. There is a cafe and restaurant there, it’s free entry which was good to know. There is a merchandise shop there also to buy various things.

Definitely beautiful experience and stunning place for redbull fans and F1 fans.
Surprisingly it doesn’t have entrance fee. you can also enjoy the bar on the ground floor and the restaurant on top with an amazing top view of the cars displayed.

I just fell in love with this place. Really like the museum and the entire place. Must visit if you like plane's, cars and engines. Highly recommended place in Salzburg.

Great place to experience all of the adrenaline sports Red Bull is a part of. Everything is roped off to protect each exhibit, but can still get close enough to enjoy them all. My 2 year old thought all the F1 cars were the best! Side note shame the red bull machine was broken, couldn't get a Red Bull at Red Bull.

Amazing place for aviators, formula fans, basically “speed lovers” and as well nice place for little ones as well. Our 4th visit overthere and we have plans to return again 🙏🏻 Free parking just in front of Hangar, no fees on entrance, gift shop. Well, great experience :)

Unexpectedly got to see Sebastian Vettel's 2008 Monza GP winning Torro Rosso car. Nice little gift shop although most of their stuff can be found in Red Bull world. You can see the flying bulls practicing sometimes. Coolest toilet I've ever been to. And it's all free! Worth the trip.

Red Bull gives you wings? Well here that phrase becomes reality. This is one of the largest collections of historical planes that are actually fully functional. So for instance on the day I visited you could see. A Douglas DC-6 flies over Salzburg and then on the ground at Hanger 7 which is located at Salzburg airport. There is a strong emphasis on sporting related activities with racing cars and stunts but also plenty of planes. There is a restaurant and cafe which you can visit, but the exhibition itself is free. You can access it via local buses and then a short walk (under 10 minutes).
I highly recommend buying a can of Redbull from the vending machine and just enjoying the overall environment.

No tickets required, just arrive and look around.
In the evening, they put the lights to blue, purple and red, which illuminates the car liveries.
Day time would be best for photos.

Free entry and fun for the whole family. Kids were excited as much as I was. Not big, not small. Lot of planes, helicopters, cars, formulas, bikes and some surprises. Also the architecture of this place is very nice. Ice cream and coffee available. I am glad we stopped by, thank you Red Bull HQ

Incredible concept! Different 2-3 star Michelin restaurants comes to this hangar of Redbull to make their local food. It was such an incredible experience and worth the money. There is also free entry to the hangar museum of RedBull when dining there.

It's free of cost. There is not waiting to go inside. But you can find so many types of helicopters, chopers, race cars, bikes etc. There is wide ride range of Red Bull vehicle exhibition. Luckly we got chance to see private choper of some one using this place for landing. They also have space view monitor just for fun

Don't expect a very big museum, but it's cool to see this place and entrance is free. The Hangar is easy to reach by bus from the old part of the city. I think it's worth a visit when you are in Salzburg and have some spare time.
